BToto believed to have nod from MoF for new betting game

BToto is believed to have been given the green light to launch 1 Perm, a betting game similar to Pan Malaysian Pools S/B’s 1 Box. Approval was granted by the MoF to BToto last Friday.

1 Perm allows punters to have a minimum bet of RM1 on all permutations of a 4-Digit number.

For the record, Tanjung’s gaming division recorded turnover of RM1.73bil for the financial year ended Jan 31, 2005, up 12% from RM1.55bil in 2004 and an operating profit of RM189.6mil. BToto posted a pre-tax profit of RM488.4mil on revenue of RM2.67bil for the financial year ending April 30, 2005.

We claimed to be an Islamic State; but we encourage non-Muslims to participate enourmously in gambling, and to gamble away their money. The government that is, continually look into possibilities to encourage the rakyat to become punters by their action's implied. The motive must be about sin-tax; to increase the coffers, in the name of democrazzy.

Please, we don't need more avenues to puntaway the income of the poor, be it due to their own deliquency. We need more educational institutions and medical hospitals. Give us more universities and hospitals; don't give us gambling centers; and don't ever claim we are an Islamic State as your action betrays your religion!!!! Please look at the model of governance at Kelantan on the aspect of gambling (only!).
