The frog speaks after a long absence

The Kelantan People's Action Council (MTRK) chairman Datuk Ibrahim Ali said statements by Ong Ka Ting and Karpal Singh that the speech by the Tengku Mahkota of Kelantan would destroy the unity and harmony among the various races, were extreme and an insult to the royal institution.

Ibrahim Ali said the two should apologise and called on the police to take take action against them under the Sedition Act.

What did Ong Ka Ting said? This is what he said:

"MCA has strongly opposed remarks that it is inappropriate for non-Malays to seek equal rights."

Ong Ka Ting said such statements would destroy the unity and harmony that existed among the various races.

“They (all non-Malay citizens) too have equal rights as enshrined in the Constitution,” Ka Ting said.

Is that seditious? Is that contemptuous? If Ibrahim Ali has the power and authority to act as such, the whole nation will turn into anarchy. He speaks like a tyrant.

"What was voiced by him was a wake-up call for the Malays and should be received open heartedly," Ibrahim Ali said (source: 'Ong and Karpal should apologise to the Tengku Mahkota')

What? Received with open heart that I am 2nd class citizen and shall not have my rights as enshrined in the Constitution? Fcuk U, Ibrahim.

MTRK? Sounds very MT (empty) even if RK to me. Who set it up and who belongs to it? What are this clown's qualification to allege that another Malaysian has committed sedition? Lawyer, kah? If yes, he better read his books again. If not, then he is just talking through his arse. Anyway, ask him about the MINDEF land scandal...which UMNO leader made thos most money? No, it wasn't him. If he does not know, then he also very unimportant.

Constantly being questioned about non-malays loyalty to the nation and country..

I don't know a single non-malay Msian who still lives here or call this country our home who does not accept

Even my 90yr old mother accepts the following:-

The King as Our Ruler
Islam as our official religion
Bahasa as our official language
Our constitution

(Let's not discuss the "special status of Malays" as there is still endless discussions abt this !)

Subconsciously - being born here, I hv embraced all the above without question as I am Msian

Like many of my brethren, I hv never disputed this "contract"

However in accepting the constitution I did not accept being
- a 2rd class citizen
- someone who has less rights to being here as the next person

In fact I would be relieved and HAPPY If UMNO just have the balls to say to our face

"Accept you are not a citizen with full fledged rights or leave.

We are merely defending the riches of our land against you

We don't give a rat's a** how long you have lived here, what you have contributed, and what your forefathers have done here.

There is NO future for you unless you agree to your "special 2rd class citizenship status"

Either you learn to pay full obeisance to us (& in exchange for this priviledge, Shut the fcuk up)

OR

Get out!"

If you don't leave AND don't accept the condition of being our slaves,

don't blame us when we draw our kerises "

This is what UMNO is saying.

Even if they are using the sorry a** of some jacka*** to say this.

Clearly some UMNO members are still living in their bubble and not accepted defeat. Their failure to grasp the pulse of the electorate will lead to their further decline. Collecting brownie points for the UMNO EGM is all that I can see.

This coming from the Kelantan division speaks for themselves,.... living in denial.

My grandparents are Chinese and you want me to accept you calling them 2nd class citizen?? Think again. If you don't know what to say Datuk Ibrahim Ali, just STFU.

Speaking of apology and sedition, these UMNOputras are guilty of it often enough and so are the Jln. Riong UMNOputra publications with its special privilege to incite with embedded bigotry on a racial basis.

M'sia is a rare country where you better be grateful for being 2nd Class, it seems! And you must not complain.

once living on spoon-fed environment, these sort of people would want to remain as one and proud over their unthinkable and value-less lifde achievement.

going forward to the real world without distrupting the nation harmony and depleting FDI confidence in the nation, the best to approach these sort of MTRK is to ignore it totally. given time, with their continuing gobloking mindset they are themselves will be beggers in their own land...

blame the monkeys and pigs, but no way themselves for their lives' failures.

typical attitude and character of losers and failures!

don't we all should pity such grouping???

this ibrahim, like all those parasites in umno depend on the so-called 2nd class citizens for their survival.

and now with the truth finally comes out - its the 2nd class citizens that allow the malay/umno supremacy to rear its ugly head.

Gobloking,

Its a sad state of affair of a nation with such diverse talents and wealth and yet, we were forced to live in feudal age.

AF & Lucia,

I wish to say the same.

Jefus,

Ya, our national political situation is still very much infested by the dengue virus.

CK,

I agree that all citizens are protected by the constitution and if the fundamental liberties of the constitution is allowed to be breached then its spells the rise of the clash of civilization.

Edi,

Sultan Azlan and Raja Nazrin had exhorted.

Hopeful,

You have shown us that there's many Malays who are rational and intellectual in their thoughts and emotions. We respect you.

Wits0,
We Malaysians must be relentless in our effort to seek justice, fairness and reasonableness, and the total respect for the provisions in the constitution.

Ling Ling Chatt,

We are all Malaysians and must think and act as Malaysians. We must continue to pursue justice and fairness and the total respect and acknowledgment of the constitution.

The few comments here showed ignorant is prevailing within some of us. Some dont even know that Ibrahim Ali is not an umno person/rep. This is unfortunate and dangerous because these people`s ignorant can result in negative feeling on the part of many innocent persons.

On the issue, the consti provides for certain rights for the different races and NOT all races have equal rights in everything. That is my understanding of the consti. Look at Ong Ka tin`s remark and look at the consti!

"Frogs don't apologise."

Hahahahahaha......

They just croak, don't they?

Maverick SM said...

Warrior2,

I read thoroughly all the comments and I found none had said that Ibrahim Ali is an Umno member.

I am glad you understand negative feelings on the part of innocent people. As such, would you understand how all non-Malays feel when we are told that we cannot be equal and that we must appreciate that we are given citizenship because we pendatang agreed to be unequal?

First and foremost, we were not given citizenship by Umno or Malays; the citizenship was a precondition set by the British before they agree to grant Independence to Malaya and the proposal to the British was made by the Alliance Party consisting of Umno-MCA-MIC, the 3 major races which forms the majority of the people of the country.

You also raised the issue that "NOT ALL RACES HAVE EQUAL RIGHTS IN EVERYTHING". That's absolutely wrong and I hope you will read the Federal Constitution clearly.

Let me emphasized the facts of the Constitution here:

Article 3: Islam is the religion of the Federation, but other religions may be practised in peace and harmony in any part of the Federation. (Tell me where is the inequality?)

Article 5: No person shall be deprived of his life or personal liberty save in accordance with law.

Article 8(1): All persons are equal before the law and entitled to the equal protection of the law. (Tell me how can any citizen be unequal?)

Article 8(2): ...there shall be no discrimination against citizens on the ground only of religion, race, descent, place of birth or gender in any law or in the appointment to any office or employment under a public authority or in the administration of any law relating to the acquisition, holding or disposition of property or the establishment or carrying on of any trade, business, profession, vocation or employment.

Article 8(4): No public authority shall discriminate against any person on the ground that he is resident or carrying on business in any part of the Federation outside the jurisdiction of the authority.

(Tell me where is the unequal rights?)

Article 14: Subject to the provisions of this Part, the following persons are citizens by operation of law, that is to say:

Article 14 (1)(a): every person born before Malaysia Day who is a citizen of the Federation by virtue of the provisions contained in Part 1 of the Second Schedule; and

Article 14 (1)(b): every person born on or after Malaysia Day, and having any of the qualifications specified in Part II of the Second Schedule.

(Do you understand citizenship and that every citizen is a citizen by the operation of law, not from any others and please understand that the constitution was drafted and agreed upon by the Alliance Party and the British govt before Independence was granted based on this social contract)

Article 4: This constitution is the supreme law of the Federation and any law passed after Merdeka Day which is inconsistent with this Constitution SHALL, to the extent of the inconsistency, be VOID.

(Can you understand the covenant made? Any law made after Merdeka Day which is inconsistent with this constitution is void and evil law).

Article 153: Reservation of quotas in respect of services, permits, etc, for Malays and natives of any of the States of Sabah and Sarawak.

(1) It shall be the responsibility of the Yand di-Pertuan Agong to safeguard the SPECIAL POSITION of the Malays and natives of any of the States of Sabah and Sarawak and the LEGITIMATE INTERESTS OF OTHER COMMUNITIES in accordance with the provisions of this Article.

(2) ...the Yang di Pertuan Agong shall exercise his functions under this Constitution and Federal law in such manner as may be necessary to safeguard the SPECIAL POSITION of the Malays and natives of Sabah and Sarawak and to ensure the reservation for Malays and natives of such proportion as he may deem reasonable of positions in the public services and of scholarships, exhibitions and other similar educational or training privileges or special facilities given or accorded by the Federal Government ...

(4) In exercising his functions under this Constitution and Federal law the Yang diPertuan Agong SHALL NOT DEPRIVE ANY PERSON of any public office held by him or of the continuance of any scholarship, exhibition or other educational or training privileges or special facilities enjoyed by him.

(5): This Article does not derogate from the provisions of Article 136.

Article 136: All persons of whatever race in the same grade in the service of the Federation shall, subject to the terms and conditions of their employment, be TREATED IMPARTIALLY.

My dear Warrior2,

Please tell me which Articles in the Constitution says non-Malays have unequal rights?

Article 153 mere states the power of Agong to safeguard the quota reserved for Malays and natives of Sabah and Sarawak for - Public Service, Scholarships, Education or Training privileges, Special Facilities such as permits or licence.

Article 153(4) also states that the Agong SHALL NOT DEPRIVE ANY PERSON of such public office or educational or training privileges or special facilities, and Article 153(5) states that this Article does not derogate from Article 136.

Just because the other races have permitted the govt controlled by Umno to give all these privileges to the Malays on the understanding that the purpose and objective is to assist the many Malays who in general are poorer than the others so as to permit them to catch up and enable them to be able to do business and partake in the commercial and business activities rather than just being farmers and fishermen, should not be taken as granted by the other citizens as waiving their rights as enshrined in the Constitution.

I hope you will try to read these constitutional provisions and critically reflect on your dogmatism and illusory rights.

I have made great efforts to put the knowledge clearly and according to the stipulations to educate you on the factual reality and the law of justice. So, do you understand why non-Malays are having negative feelings with the statement from Kelantan crown prince?
