Blog Review

Today, I like to share with you an article from the blog of a Cikgu who blogs at katataknak.blogspot.com

Excerpts from his article:

"The Reasoning"

by Cikgu Kata Tak Nak

I have written about it before, maybe not as a specific post, and I am going to write about it again. No harm in repeating. It enforces what is already taught or learnt and gives it a permanent place in long term memory.

The reason I gave up the UMNO struggle was how those people treated human beings. I was a hardcore member, willing to give my life for their struggle which on paper was a noble one.

As a Muslim one must not at any time condone such acts. I wonder how those Muslims who condone such atrocities against humanity call themselves Muslim? If you cannot fight it physically then fight it verbally and as the last resort fight it with your heart, never ever condone such acts.

I am putting myself into great risk by going against these people especially being a civil servant and all but it could be my nature, I cannot just close an eye and pretend that all is well in this beloved country of mine.

The least I could do is to speak up, or in my case, writing down. This sorry state of affair should not and must not continue.

I invite you to read the full article at his blog here

How could the Muslim minister throws Raja Petra into the prison without giving him his rights to defend himself at the court of law for an alleged crime of exposure of wrongdoings?

How could the Muslim make a police report of someone who tells the truth about the poor conditions and food given to prisoners?

How could they call themselves Muslims when what they did was scorn and detested by the Prophet and in the Quran?

Common sense.

Once The BENGGAPS elect other BENGGAPS as Leaders for them, they will happily continue their lives as BENGGAP!

When BENGGAPS run their lives, no matter what religion they profess or beliefs, they will continue to condone what other BENGGAPS do onto others whom are not in association with the BENGGAPS.

It only takes a BENGGAP to agree on another BENGGAP to take action onto Raja Petra Kamaruddin.

When BENGGAPS are in millions in members, there is no way a sane human being able to topple the BENGGAP minds.

That is why the BENGGAPS exists in the first place; to be BENGGAPS!

Gerakan: Molotov cocktail attack ‘act of cowardice’
By ANDREA FILMER

GEORGE TOWN: Gerakan has condemned the throwing of Molotov cocktails at the home of Seputeh MP Teresa Kok, saying it was an act of cowardice.

Party acting president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon said there should be discussions in a democratic manner when disagreements arose.

Is it any wonder why Islam remains a much misunderstood religion?

The Malays make it worse in this country by blurring the distinction between their race and a fanatical sense of ownership of Islam in this country.

The whole world laughs at some of the things happening in this country, and really, at whose expense?

in the Star today

"We have no decision-making powers and have been ignored and insulted many times,” he said."

and since March 08, the only need the ruling party can comprehend is to barter for power with money, shutting up people, putting fear in the air,..... and in the UN, raping the global community, (here, telling the world about sustainable development. Get a grip, .... we are not doing well at all. Mostly due to bad governance,... ie our own doing. Sibsidized economic gorwth has shown its weakness in 1997 and still in the 2007/8 crisis, what was our weakness again?.......subsidy. Do we need another 50 years of this?

It looks like the powers that be have a penchant in strongly refusing to see the oncoming train....

BENGGAP.LAH,

Ehm.

Anak Merdeka,

Misunderstood religion? No! It is often abused and interpreted to suit by those who have motivations.

Jefus,

The blind can't see.

I think it is time for us not to commit Muslim or Islam into this.

Let's comment and condemn the individual, between the good and bad.

Misused of religion in politic has caused so much tragedy in this beautiful world.

Let the hypocrites taste the pain later.

KIMHO8,

You are right. The whole issue has nothing to do with Islam. It is those who acted against Islam and are themselves preachers of a Faith that is virtuous but the acts and behavior of the claimants are contrary to the virtuous teaching.

yes, islam may be good, but the problem is that a lot of its followers are doing a lot of evil thing under it's name.

even the islamic authority didn't strong criticize their acts. sooner or later somebody is going to blow up a mall in malaysia.

such true sad state malaysia is in. Another extremist state in the making.

The only reason I can offer as to why UMNO muslims behave the way they do is that being born Muslims they dont even "KNOW" their religion. They are what you can refer to (for lack of a better definition) as "ritualistic muslims" ie they pray (sometimes for some)they puasa (sometimes also for some) they circumcise (this, all the time) and of course they do their pigimage and umrah (yearly for some) and do all other rituals; BUT the ROH or SPIRIT of ISLAM is totally absent - they see no harm in drinking, fornicating, taking bribes, go to bomoh to do evil on their enemies, and commit zalim, outright lies and slander. Yet they proudly proclaim (and unashamedly at that) that they are the defenders of ISLAM - such hipocrasy.

no thanks to sweeping generalization such as from commentators like you, no good deeds can ever be seen from islam.. nice argument (like decades ago..).

can you ever stop relating the evildoer to what religion they claimed to profess? and treat them just as pure evil?

if you can't see past that, perhaps, you are the problem.

hero,

You have good points and I appreciate your opinion. However, you needn't respond to anonymous guys as they refuse to even sign in with any moniker and I wouldn't hesitate to delete them.

Beeranyone,

Thanks for the beer video.

Helen,

You are right.
