Pak Lah is not resigning!

Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi says he will seek an audience with the Yang di Pertuan Agong on Monday to form the next federal government following BN’s simple majority win in the 12th general elections.

Pak Lah said: "I don't know who is being pressured (to step down). I'm not resigning," he told reporters at a press conference at the BN operations centre at the Putra World Trade Centre.

To a reporter’s question on whether the BN coalition would be denied its two-thirds majority in Parliament, Abdullah said: “This is what the people want if they do not want us to have a two-thirds majority.”

LAh Lah..the enemy is within UMNo. U know who is the pressure. Thick lips and the Krisman will up the ante...and push you out. Next AGM..if you will survive till then..they will challenge..and your SIL too

The hatred for the kurang ajar SIL actually helped the voters to decide.

Think you are good prime minister. The people are telling you not to sleep and do your job. Also teach your son in law manners. KJ is too arrogant and useless.

Thank you.

Within the next 5 years, there will be a mini coup within UMNO and the PM will step down.

It had happened before to our first PM.

I think Pak Lah is still sleeping. He has not woken up yet. His enemy is not the Barisan Rakyat. All his enemies are those around him, especially those who advised him.

How could a Prime Minister who won with such overwhelming support 4 years ago has now failed so miserably that he has created one of the most doubtful records of sorts? Only he can answer this.

Search your heart, Pak Lah. No superficial rhetorics, or you could end up the path of Samy Vellu and Tsu Khoon.

he can continue to sleep or make reform. but to late to do the latter. gone bodowi n sil now, the lips and the keris. never-ending huh? so, bulan, rocket and bintang has to really scrutinize all these buggers. not be like them. i do pray...

To me....better maintain Paklah as the current PM. This is the only way BA can win the next election. Let Paklah make more stupid decision. If Najib take over from him, I doubt BA can repeat the same victory. Najib will for sure "Buy" the rakyat!
Another alternative way is, "buy" those MP of BN in Sabah, Sarawak & Terengganu. Ask them to join BA, which automatically will reduce BN "Simple Majority". Then, BA will "WIN" the parliament. This had happened before in Sabah when BN bought those oppositions!!
Dont repeat what happened in Terengganu.
Please bear in mind, BA won a lot of seats not because they are very strong but because a lot of loyal BN voters/supporters didnt came out to cast their vote. Please do remember this.
I really doubt BA will be able to repeat the same victory in the next election. The only way to gain control of the Parliament. Buy BN MP in Sabah, Sarawak & Terengganu!!! Then put Anwar as a PM. Only Anwar can unite Malaysian!

CONGRATULATION BA!!!

Well, PM rather sacrifice his beauty sleep to continue his duty as PM.

What a sacrifice!

Artchan,

The enemy is not within UMNO; the victory of BR is largely due the power of the middle class and the under-class.

Purple Haze,

I believe it is a good wake up call to UMNO that they now know what is Makkal Sakthi. It is also time for Gerakan, MCA and MIC to re-evaliaye their relevance.

Constant_Drama,

Orang Tua malu tapi tak boleh tunjuk.

Gobloking,

Ya, Malaysiakini was inaccessible; fortunately they created a few mirror sites. Even Blogspot was inaccessible; I have difficulty in posting.

Maverick SM said...

Jefus,

Yes, It was more of a nightmare.

Chicken Ball,

Pak Lah had never ever thought that this can happen; Makkal Sakthi was never in his dictionary.

Bayi,

You are right. Pak Lah will wake up but will he be able to discover the profound knowledge that he had been surrounded by a bunch of crooks dressed in angels' wear?

CK Tan,

It will take a little longer for East Malaysia to enforce Makkal Sakthi. It will happen, soon.

Nobody Important,

You are right; it's not about Pak Lah or Najib. The BN wins because of Sabah and Sarawak. Take that away and BN had less than 40% seats in Parliament.

Helen,

I think he is still asleep; and whether he is PM or not, he continues to do so.

BN would have suffered greater lost if it wasn’t for phantom and post voters and moreover the cancelling of indelible ink.
I believe BN cheated in Terengganu, the opposition could have won more seats in Terengganu

With Najib's balls being held by Pak lah through Mongolian…

No one with enough fire power can overturn Pak lah at this moment.

Maverick SM said...

Asyraf,

I tend to agree with you and I hope BR would act to clean up the state electoral rolls.

Cruel Angel,

I think UMNO & BN will go through some crisis now.

Mave, the la lah man is part of the problem. It's not as if he is purer than his ilks and underlings. He has been a deceitfulful and cavalier person stuck in his own personal inertia for a very long time.

If he were really dissimilar(meaning better than)to the rest why is enjoying all this frequent perks like jet trotting perks like his predecessor but with a bigger private jet(an A319) and with more frills. He wants to bestow us all with SIL in the same way as Mahathir wants to bestow you us with Najib. Just because he snarls not openly does not make him more desireable than Mahathir. he just wanted to behave humble-like in order to be loved. Whata pretender!

Gukita said...

Unlike the predecessor who is willing to cut perceived cancer at all cost, Pak Lah does not have that gut. Everybody knows the problem is with the 4th floor. Is he willing to use the scalpel?

Maverick SM said...

Wits0,

Mahathir just wanted revenge with Pak Lah. I don't think he supports Najib.

Let Pak Lah rule and we Malaysians can see whether he had changed for the better or would allow Khairy to dictate the nation. It will be suicidal for him if he do allow.

Gukita,

It's not PM don't know; it's his daughter's husband and he had promised Endon to take extreme good care of Endon's delight.

Pak Lah, time to call it quits... be a man... not a...ah nevermind, he wouldn't get the message if hit him on the head and did a full on strip tease in front of him.

Results this election were a real eye opener. Great show by the DAP, PKR and PAS.

Some are afraid that if Pak Lah resigns and Najib or some other person takes over, it will be harder for the opposition to win again next election...

The change must be welcomed, because at the end of the day we need to think about our country and move ahead...

If BN can clean up their act (which I doubt)then we will see how good they really are...

Next 5 years are really important for both sides and I think that is when you will see a real change. Which is either the demise of BN... or everyone crawls back to BN because the opposition can't deliver.... (hopefully it is not the latter)

After 50 years, if not for Datuk Seri Abdullah, we would not have the first Tsunami and victory for democracy in Malaysia.

Let's just look at the scenario:

1. Datuk Seri Abdullah released DSAI when he came to power.
He did not need to do this.
Dr M would probably have driven DSAI to commit Harakiri in prison!

2. Datuk Seri Abdullah did not stop the bloggers from giving altenartive news.
He could have arrested these bloggers under ISA.
Dr M would definitely have done this at least prior to the election.

3. Datuk Seri Abdullah allowed the Bersih and Hindraf to organise their rallies. Under Dr M's rule,
the organisers would have been arrested even for thinking about organising the rallies.

Judge a person from the outcomes of their leadership, not from what their detractors say.

Think!

Maverick SM said...

Oranger,

Based on the "logic" you put up, you justified a man whom you certify as leader.

Releasing Anwar was the court's decision; unless you are telling me that the judges takes instruction from PM; that if true, is in itself unconstitutionally, and an act of crime.

Your 2nd and 3rd point does suggest that ISA should be used against citizen who dissent or do not agree with the govt. Mahathir may do what you say,; but two wrongs don't make one right.

If logics can be argued in such unintelligible way, then the educational system in the country is in a quandary, and Malaysians are drving itself into the dark ages.

I'm sorry for you and your thoughts.
