India will be punished for mistreatment of Samy

“But let us be honest here. As a result of the demonstrations that had taken place, some employers feel uncomfortable employing workers from India even though they have already been given approval to take in the workers."

“Then they come to us and request to, for example, employ Indonesians instead, and we allow them to do so, (in obvious reference to the demonstrations by Hindraf), and that the ministry had allowed several employers who had initially asked for workers from India to switch to workers of other nationalities.”

This is what Home Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Radzi Sheikh Ahmad said in the article at TheStar on line captioned: No freeze on intake of workers from India

There is no freeze on the intake of Indian foreign workers, confirmed Mohd Radzi Sheikh Ahmad.

On claims his ministry had stopped issuing permits for new applications for Hindu priests, temple musicians and sculptors, Radzi clarified that applications would be considered on case-by-case basis as the number of foreigners working in temples in the country has reached 5,468.

“Some of the priests have been in the country for more than 10 years and it is time for us to sit down and look at whether it is necessary to renew their permits. We want locals to do the job ... the hiring of foreigners from the 10 source countries, including India, are done in a more orderly fashion.

"We must remember that there are about two million foreigners working in the country and the number is substantial,” Radzi said.

So, India was punished for treating Samy Vellu badly. So, those Indians will be punished because they had not bow to the lords.

The net gainer, is, Indonesians. Even Khairy has to bodek them; why? Because Indon has a free press!!!

Quote of the Day:

"In general, let every student of nature take this as a rule – that whatever his mind seizes and dwells upon with peculiar satisfaction, is to be held in suspicion; and that so much the more care is to be taken, in dealing with such questions, to keep the understanding even and clear. The understanding must not be allowed to jump and fly from particulars to remote axioms and of almost the highest generality. It must not be supplied with wings, but rather hung with weights to keep it from leaping and flying."

"For men converse by means of language; but words are imposed according to the understanding of the crowd; and there arises from a bad and inapt formation of words, a wonderful obstruction to the mind."

- Francis Bacon; Human Errors -Idols of the Market-place

"All the received systems of philosophy are but so many stages plays; representing worlds of their own creation after an unreal and scenic fashion. And in the plays of this philosophic theater you may observe the same thing which is found in the theater of the poets – that stories invented for the stage are more compact and elegant, and more as we would wish them to be, than true stories out of history.

"The world as Plato describes is merely a world constructed by Plato, and pictures Plato rather than the world.

"We shall never get far along towards the truth if these idols are still to trip us up, even the best of us, at every turn. We need new modes of reasoning, new tools for the understanding.

"And surely it would be most disgraceful, if, while the regions of the material globe have been in our times laid wide open and revealed, the intellectual globe should remain shut up within the narrow limits of old discoveries."

I think Khairy & the Home Affairs minister missed out mentioning the largest group of foreigners in Msia ie 8 to 9 million of non-malays?

UMNO should not just talk abt foreigners living here for 10 yrs & still on work permit

They should REALLY talk about WHY Indons who have lived here for <10yrs gets citizenship

BUT non-malays/indons who have lived here for nearly their entire lives (let's say >20yrs) gets to be treated like migrant workers & NO citizenships

Yeah...I should know. My granny lived here for 60 yrs and never got her citizenship. She died with a red IC.

Did we apply citizenship for my granny?

OFCOURSE we did. Many times

Only to be told she can NOT be Malaysian - GOD knows WHY because ALL her kids and grandkids were!

And don't forget the case of the aussie man who lived here for nearly 4o yrs

They gave him his citizenship on his death bed at 84 - just to fulfil his dying wish.
(we should have tried that one for granny!)

And Samy Velu KNOWS what his biggest mistake was...

It wasn't that he "makan banyak" but in doing so, he neglected the welfare of the Indians and sold them down the Klang river!!

Malaysia Boleh ain't it?

grrr...rrr!!

Its time for our dear old Samy to just evaporate into thin air of you know, buy a yacht and sail around the world.

I bet he can afford that after ALL these years. Only one Indian has a happily ever after in the country and its our dear old Uncle Samy...

Punish India? Yes, go ahead. It is a Good Thing (TM). A win-win situation for Malaysia consumer that suffer the oil shortage.

Because India can retaliate from stop buying our palm oil . Even with eco-oil usage, without India, we will have millions tons of palm oil excess, so Malaysia palm oil price will go down. Then no more "expensive palm oil".

Peace of mind ;)
