Mahathir inscribe Pak Lah's Epitaph

Dr Mahatir issued a statement today calling for the resignation of Pak Lah.

Dr Mahatir condemned Pak Lah for having “destroyed” a once invincible ruling bloc.

“I think he should accept responsibility for this. He should accept 100 per cent responsibility”, said Dr Mahatir, “I am sorry but apparently I made the wrong choice.”

“The problem is we have become so arrogant. We suppress any opinion that we do not like and they begin to believe in their own reports which are not actually consistent with what is happening in the country,” Mahathir said.

Anwar Ibrahim has this to say about the Barisan Rakyat victory:

“This is a defining moment, unprecedented in our nation’s history. The people have voted decisively for a new era where the government must be truly inclusive and recognise that all Malaysians, regardless of race and colour, culture and religion, are a nation of one.”

LIKE IT OR NOT, WE HAVE TO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT HE WAS ELECTED BY FELLOWS M'SAINS TO LEAD THE NEXT ADMINISTRATION, SO BE IT.

ITS ALSO A FACT THAT TDM & THE UMNO WARLORDS KNEW UMNO IS AILING & CAN'T HEAL BY ITSELF.

BUT FOR THE FACT THAT TDM TO HAVE A PRESS CONFERENCE & ASK THE PPL TO PRESSURE HIM TO TENDER HIS RESIGNATION IS THE MOST IRRESPONSIBLE THING TO DO.

FOR THIS IS UMNO PROBLEM,LET UMNO ITSELF DECIDE WHO THEY WANT FOR A PRESIDENT & AS THE NEXT PM, WHETHER THROUGH AN EGM OR DURING THEIR NEXT GENERAL MEETING. LET THEIR SUPREME COUNCIL HANDLE THEIR OWN PROBLEM.

WE ALREADY ACHIEVED OUR OBJECTIVE, TO DENY THE COALITION A 2/3 MAJORITY. OUR NEXT MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO ASSIST THE ELECTED BARISAN RAKYAT CANDIDATES TO FULFILL THEIR OBLIGATIONS/PROMISES TO THE PPL IN THOSE 5 STATES.

SO DON'T GET THE PPL INVOLVE WITH UMNO INTERNAL PROBLEM...ITS NOT OUR FIGHT. AND IF WE ARE NOT CAREFUL & GET SUCKED INTO THEIR DILEMMA... IT MIGHT LEAD TO A TERRIBLE SETBACK. FOR WE MIGHT NOT BE AWARE THERE COULD BE SOME UNSCRUPULOUS INDIVIDUALS WILL USE THIS INTERFERENCE BY THE PPL AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO INCITE RACIAL
DISCORD.

AFTER LAST NIGHT, WE FINALLY SAW A GLIMMER OF HOPE THAT WE... THE MALAYS, THE CHINESE, THE INDIANS & THE REST OF M'SIANS COULD UNITE & BE AS ONE... AS BANGSA MALAYSIA.

LET NO ONE UNDO WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED SO FAR... OTHERWISE ALL OUR EFFORT & HARD WORK FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS WILL BE A WASTE... A TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE WASTE.

LET US LEAVE THIS UMNO INTERNAL BICKERING TO THEMSELVES & JUST HELP OUR BROTHERS IN PKR, DAP, PAS TO CHART A BETTER FUTURE FOR OUR CHILDRENS & GRANDCHILDRENS.

It would be right for Tun to ask AAB to step down from UMNo..Because UMNO is not our business. It is for UMNO members to decide. I hope they keep him so that UMNO can go sleep foreverand continue to rot under his leadership.

But he is PM of MALAYSIA..and as Malaysian, we have a right to tell him we do not need him as PM. Simple.

UMNO does not represent Malaysia. The election has shown that many Malays deserted UMNO.

If Rip van Winkle has any brain or honour left (a shred of either will do) he would have done what he should have done. He has lost touch with the feelings of the people and is surrounded by sycophants who are there only for the loot. And furthermore his advisers from Tingkatan 4 aren't too savvy, whether Oxbridge or not.

Mahathir? Siapa Mahathir? Who is he to tell the PM to resign when the majority of the country had spoken and still gave Pak Abdullah the mandate. And why do you people listen and pay attntion to this former PM? When he was in power, you people condemned him and undermined him in so many things and in so many ways.

Saya percaya kemenangan parti pembangkang disebabkan penipuan dan pengundi hantu. Masakan boleh memang begitu banyak.

i agree with beeranyone and pemerhati. to me dr me is being kaypo again with his big mouth. yes who is he to tell the PM to resign? how come people hate this man so much when he was in power but now when he was not in power and constantly criticise badawi, everybody listened to him and support him??

beeranyone said it rightly - this is UMNO problem so let UMNO decide. it is not fair to blame badawi alone for the poor performance of BM in the election. all those big guns in BN together with him are to be blamed!

if badawi resign who is going to be PM? his now deputy? shudder! i'd rather have a sleeping PM than a PM who wants to soak the keris with chinese blood.

btw, i'm no supporter of BN at all (as evident from my blog) and am very very happy that BN lost big! padan their muka!

Pak Lah's Epitaph

Here lies a bumbling clown
Who thought running a country
Is like herding a dozen goats

He likes overseas holidays
Jetsetting and yahcting
In exotic lands with new wife

Living his duties to his SIL
While he gets 3 salaries
From 3 ministerial portfolios

Good Riddance And Don't Return
And may your SIL
Rot with You

Mahathir may not realise it ,but he is the one who sow the seeds of electoral defeat for BN.

It was during his tenure that corruption;cronyism;wastages,
mismanagemen;trampling
of
democracy;suppression of freedom of speech;abuse of power;attack of human rights etc....thrived and until today.
His dismantling of judiciary independent has also perpetuated
BN's misrules.

It is only that the people now has awaken up to all BN's misdeed.

Hahahahaa!

Such is the boundless irony of Mahathir, the one who sowed the seed of ultra racism to enhance his own ascendency to the top in umno.

To preserve your own sanity and logic, there's no cause to pay him and his double speak much heed. If what he says today happens to be true, it's a coincidence rather than for truth's sake. The truth is deriveable without his statements and in far greater clarity.

Beeranyone,

You have said with good points.

Artchan,

Ya, UMNO must decide whether they are to remain relevant.

Pits,

Rip van Wrinkle? emhm...

Lucia,

UMNO can become irrelevant; TDM is out for revenge.

Cruel Angel,

TDM needs to speak out and break the oligarch up.

Wits0,

You are absolutely right. TDM had forgotten what he has sowed.
