RUMOURS OF A NEW 28 YEARS OLD COO IN KHAZANAH

Khairy at 28 to be Chief Operating Officer at Khazanah

Singapore Business Times quoted yesterday's Asian Wall Street Journal (AWSJ) which reported that Khairy Jamaluddin, the 28-year-old son-in-law of PM Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, is set to become the Number Two at Khazanah Nasional.

Congratulations to Khairy! As a well educated intellectual from the Ivy league university of UK, the opportunity to serve the nation should be well received. The many sacrifices and hardwork for the son-of-man has been rewarded and this is definitely a good return on investment.

As a new and young executive who will be holding an extremely high position, I hope that he will use this opportunity to serve the nation, and with his service, he will turnaround the system, remove the corrupts, remove the cronies, re-engineer a New Malaysia Incorporated, for the people, the rakyat of Malaysia, with his dedicated and honest leadership.

But, I'm sorry to say BUT because, human as usual when given the opportunity to serve the Nation, will serve himself first, creating his own exceptional & massive wealth and built his vast empire, all for himself, then his family and then his cronies; all of these, at the expense of the rakyat. This, we can observed with half-open eyes and half shut ears, as can be seen in our politicall system.

I am not doubting Khairy's integrity and sincerity at this stage, as he should be given a chance to prove himself. What my point is, that he should remember his role and keep reminding himself of this evil of men within our political system - that GREED for MONEY (billions) & POWER (absolute power) will consume men, that in the crowded surrounding of such massive numbers of kleptocrats, (who are politically linked in order that they survive without effort, sweat and labor) even an honest man will be overwhelm by the critical mass of kleptocrats.

My wish and as well as many others, is that Malaysia will have a new breed of honest intellectually competent leaders who will look into the pains and drains of the Rakyat, largely caused by the massive corruptive politicians who were bred and nurtured through our political system for the last two decades. As the saying goes, "If we can reduce half the amount of corruption that goes into the pockets of the politicians, it is more than enough to reduce 50% of the income tax of Malaysian individuals.

Can we reduce the SyMokhtarism, Halimism, TingPKingism, brought into the system by the Doctrines of Mahathirism. I hope we are not creating the new Scomism, Rozalism, and Khairyism under the new Maxim of Paklahism. GOD bless Khairy and may GOD grant him the wisdom and strength so that he will continue to be honest to lead the Nation and to lead all the Rakyat to prosperity - NOT just the politicians and its cronies!!!!!!
