TUANKU'S MESSAGE TO THE RAKYAT & (MINISTERS TOO)
Malaysian National News Agency :: BERNAMA: "KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 (Bernama) -- Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail Fridaynight urged the people to remain united to ensure stability and well-being of the country.
He said a peaceful and prosperous nation would not mean anything if the people were divided, envious and immoral.
'Noble values, tolerance and mutual respect will guarantee the nation's stability and well-being,' he said in his birthday message over RTM.
Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin also said the people must be sensitive to the advances in technology to face the challenges ahead in the liberalisation and globalisation era.
'Research activities, especially in science and technology, must be stepped up to realise the nation's aim to emerge as a developed industrialised country which can compete with advanced countries in the world,' he added.
