You don't know what can happen and the society has bred some who commits bestial act to seek their needs and wants for riches.
Julia Lau Lee Mei, the daughter of a Sarawak businessman was kidnapped and murdered and her body dumped into a disused mining pool in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. Julia is a student studying with a private college in Pandan Indah, KL was last seen on June 21. That same night, her father received a call from the kidnappers demanding RM1.2million as ransom. They negotiated and the kidnappers finally agreed at RM400,000. However, the kidnappers never collected the money at the agreed "drop-off point." Three suspects, two of them Sarawakian were arrested. Whatever it is, Julia is gone and the family had lost their beloved daughter. Nothing, can compensate the family for that loss. I can only offer condolence and my emphaty.
As for those who have their childrens studying or working at far away distance, they must understand the risk and the probabilities and have a risk response plan to avoid, mitigate, or possibly transfer the probable risk factors and events. Not everyone we know and befriended are friends - BEWARE & TAKE CARE!
