WAHID HAS DELIVERED AS PROMISED!

Syabas to UEMWORLD & Wahid for the excellent leadership and management of the slope repair project. As promised, the stretch of road was reopen to the public on 1st. June 2004.

Six months ago, when the rockfall occurs and when it was announced that it would take 7 months to repair that stretch of road, many pundits have predicted that it would take much longer than announced. Three months ago, I still hear from those pundits that the scenarios looks pessimistic to meet the deadline.

Yesterday, those critics and pundits were proven wrong. The leadership quality of Wahid and the team of construction experts and consultants have put in tireless time & insurmountable efforts which, stretched their limited resources to ensure the targets are met. R.I.P. MALAYSIA BOLEH resurrected!

Kudos to all the members of the team. Apart from Datuk Wahid and UEMWORLD who deserves all the credit, we should not forget to mention the efforts of the contractor, the sub-contractors, the consultants and of course, Datuk Seri Samy Vellu (we won't forget you, SAM). "Give them each a Datukship, Pak-Lah." They deserve it more than those who have swam the English Channel, Sail around the world and climbed Mount Everest. The roads and highways gives benefit to hundreds of thousands of Malaysians - swimming the English Channel benefits the sharks!!!!!!

Datuk Wahid is a great manager of crisis. Pak-Lah should consider him as replacement for the Higher Education Minister post to resolve the crisis of the medical industry and the decades of failure (to resolve the shortages of medical personnel in Government Hospitals).

Interestingly, I have another friend whose name is also Datuk Wahid and he is as effective and intelligent and have great leadership skills - he is COMPETENT!. But he is low profile type(he's a civil servant) and GOD willing, Pak-Lah will have the wisdom to spot him as the future (coming) Minister of Works!!!!! I will pray for him and Pak-Lah!
