WE HAVE TWIN TOWERS BUT NOT ENOUGH JUDGES!
1st. June 2004, The Star, pg2
Systemic Failure unfolded again
The trial date for a murder case was fixed on January 14 & February 4th., 2007 as reported in The Star today.
"Putting a person facing a capital charge in prision for 3 to 4 years before trial is inhuman and completely improper," insisted Gobind Singh Deo, the defence lawyer.
"Given a choice, I would like to hear the trial in 2 or 3 days time, but I can't. I agree that this sort of thing should not be kept too long," High Court Judge Justice Abdul Kadir Musa moans.
Justice Abdul Kadir is hoping that there will be a postponement of any scheduled case so as to slot this case in for trial next month. HOPE, AND LET THE ACCUSED CONTINUE TO HOPE!
Malaysia aspires to be a developed Nation by 2020. This is Mahathir's Vision and the successor is for it. We build first class, first world infrastructure, but we have third world mentality and Ministers.
GOODBYE VISION 2020. LETS STAY STUPID & KLEPTOCRATIC!
