3 MONTHS WAIT TO GET MEDICAL REPORT

HUKM Posted by Hello

Hospital University Kebangsaan Malaysia will need 1 to 3 months to process your medical report is requested. According to HUKM spokesman En Basir, there are numbers of requests from patients and they had to process it one at a time. Firstly, they had to retrieve the record from the file, and then hand it over the the doctor who treated the patient. Then the doctor will need to go through all the tests conducted and medication given before they can write the report. At times, the particular doctor is not available and at times, the doctor is out of town. Therefore, 1-3 months to them seems reasonable.

What happens if that patient is in critical condition and needs the report urgently so as to facilitate another specialist to understand the patient's medical history? 3 months is sufficient to make damned sure that particular patient will be ready for the grave; just like Nur Atiqah, and many others.

Efficiency? High Performance? Rafidah says Malaysia have the expertise and capability to provide medical services to foreigners - is that what we can offer our own, hitherto, to others too?

Pak Lah says all institution must have a performance measurement system and KPI.

Can we? What benchmark are we setting to baseline our fundamental performance level? Are we proud of our level of efficiency? GOD Bless our souls as many are getting nearer to Him. Nur Atiqah can testify.
