IN AGM OF BN POLITICAL PARTIES WHERE DO THEY USUALLY HAVE LUNCH?
Gerakan AGM lunchtime is at the stairways and backroom.
In UMNO and MCA AGM, where do they have their lunch? In restaurant, coffee house, or tar-pau (packed food)or fast food?
Maybe that's why Gerakan is considered a poorer party compared to MCA, MIC and UMNO.
MCA rules Transport Ministry & Health Ministry, which manages Airport, Seaports, Transportations, Hospitals and clinics and medical tenders; while MIC manages the most lucrative ministry - the Works Ministry which spents multi-billion a year and every year, on new projects and UMNO have the rest of projects. Gerakan has the Primary Industry Ministry and now upgraded to Communication and Energy.
Poor Keng Yaik and his Gerakan members - they had to suffer a poor lunch while Ong Kah Ting will have his lunch at Mandarin Oriental and Japanese Cuisines.
In the recent AGM,Dr Lim Keng Yaik had this message to all politicians:
"Politicians must be clean to convince the people that the fight against corruption is serious. Politicians must lead by example by eschewing (avoid habitually) corrupt practices and money politics. The practice of asking for bribes to approve contract and licence must be stopped and rigorous enforcement should continue."
