PROMISE OF BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICES

IMPROVED SERVICES Posted by Hello

Public Service Department Director-general Tan Sri Samsuddin Osman said today that the Government had introduced the “Customer Service Offices” to manage the front office so as to provide better services to the public. The officers will be introduced at the Immigration, Road Transport and National Registration Departments and other government departments soon.

The promise made by the DG is that there will be no more unhelpful government officers or having your telephone calls passed around, or waiting for hours. This scheme will be an extension of the functions currently performed by telephonists, receptionships and PROs. With this introduction, a number of staff from each department will be spe4cially trained to handle customers, and new staffs may be added.

Samsuddin said the new offices was set up as a result of the public’s rising expectations and the increased workload at government agencies over the years.

Will this Cakap Serupa Bikin?

Or, will we hear of more excuses?

"Dear Tan Sri, we, the public are appreciative of your current initiative and will want to see the results. Jangan Cakap Tak Serupa Bikin. I believe you won't."
