Sad Sick Story

He was only recently promoted to the post of Director-General.

He strongly believes that his men is clean and honest.

But he has a problem.

Is it insane delusion again?

Something like that!

Did he have problem with his penis? NO!

Then, what's his problem?

He believes his officers are being pressured by certain people (most likely politicians and politikus) to "turn a blind eye" to illegal imports and exports of goods.

He claimed these "people" do not offer money in consideration of the goodwill but instead use threats and insinuations to force them to relax the enforcements.

Is he suggesting that using money is OK?

No! He just do not prefer "threat" and "insinuation". He didn't say money will be ok.

But he can report it to the police and the anti-corruption agency?

He begs to differ. He prefers to publish his statement in the media; probably because he believes it is more effective.

Who is he?

He is, Customs Director-General, Datuk Abdul Rahman Abdul Hamid. In the NST today, he announced that a State Custom director and a preventive branch head were pressured by certain people to “turn a blind eye” to the illegal imports and exports of goods.

“These people do not offer money but use threats and insinuations to force us to relax the enforcement.”

Abdul Rahman also advised Customs officers to stay away from colleagues who were being investigated for various offences. “They can befriend anyone. It’s just that there are some officers who do not take note of their friend’s background.”

Is the customs officers having problem with their colleagues and friends?

Is the police and ACA so unreliable such that D-Gs had to get the media to highlight their plights?

Is customs houses clean?
