Akademi Fantasia a Fantasy for the Poor?

Akademi Fantasia only for poor and a male

An Utusan Malaysia reader, who was clearly bitter that Akademi Fantasia finalist Farhan did not win the competition, accused the show of picking male contestants from rural areas as winners.

Reader Rosli Abdul Hamid said AF4 once again proved this because the winner was a male contestant from Terengganu and second place went to a male from Sabah.

“It is as if it is a must that the champion and second place winner are from a village, poor and a male,” he wrote.

It's about fantasy, isn't it? As long as it's a fantasy, then it is Academy Fantasia.

Or
maybe it's just a case of more girls/women who watches AF compare to the lonely and frustrated UM reader.

I'm sure he could vent his anger by beating up a poster of the winner with his Hand-bag.

Teruslah hidup di Alam Fantasi
Biarkan Bumi Lubnan dan Iraq di basahi,
Darah merah dan tangisan tak bertepi...

Gukita, you are dwelling in philosophy at the highest level that is esoteric. I love the poetry.
