Khairy accuses some Umno members of backstabbing party leaders

Umno Youth deputy chief Khairy Jamaluddin has accused Umno members of backstabbing party leaders.

“It is like our own soldiers fighting on the frontlines and getting shot in the back by our own people,” Khairy said.

“By offering information to the public, it is like we are offering bullets and guns for them to shoot us,” he said.

Who is US? Whom does he associate as "US"??? Is it Kali, Khairy & Kama??? or is it "Malaysians or the "Whole Malay society"?

When he becomes billionaire and Kama is also billionaire, is it "US" who are billioanaires or will we get a million from him? Will he share his wealth with "US"??? Who are the "us"???

When he gets $9 million friendly loan from Kali and his partners, did any one of you who do wish to buy ECM-Libra shares get the friendly loans? Anyone was "us"?

“Where do we (Umno) put our faces? Why do we have to show our wounds to others? “ asked Khairy.

I don't know where he is going to put his face.... you have to ask Maya and Nori...

Khairy said the country needed leaders that are far-sighted and not those who merely want to be popular but not concerned about the future of the country, adding that the Government had reduced fuel subsidies and increased the price of petrol so that the future generation would not be burdened with debts.

I wholly and strongly agree that Malaysia needed leaders who arev far-sighted. However, somehow, we are so short-sighted... I remember Pak Lah said the government must be frugal... however, since the Mahathir's new dilemma emerged, he wasn't tight with money anymore; he splashed out billions of dollars of projects to the delight of many... why an about-turn? Was it because of Mahathir or if it wasn't Mahathir's new dilemma, there will still be tightening economy? How do we syn it with far-sighted leadership?


At another function, Khairy maintained that he had suffered losses amounting to RM200,000 when he sold his shares in ECM Libra Avenue Bhd.

“I have done my calculations and I am sticking to the figure I quoted before,” he told reporters after opening the Sri Gading Umno Youth division meeting in Johor Baru.

“Why should I lie about my losses? Khairy asked.

Khairy sold his stake of 10.2 million shares in ECM Libra Avenue for 65 sen a share of which he had bought the shares at 71 sen a share in December last year.

I want to believe that Khairy did not lie. But he lost 6 sen per share and 10.2million shares will mathematically equates to some $600,000 losses. Howcome it is only $200,000? This is Catch22 situation?

It must be that Khairy had sold most of his shares (some 7million shares before) and that left him with some 3.3million shares at stake by this time of which he sold it at 65sen. So, his loss is $200,000 at 6sen per share for 3.3million shares. Then, he is right. However, there's another catch... when he sold the 7million shares, did he sell at the optimum price at $1.15? If he did (if he didn't then he isn't an intelligent investor), then he would have accumulated a cash-out profit of some $3.2million. Assuming he did, his net position will be a net profit of some $3million. Not bad, eh!!!

So, the poser is: why did he announced his loss of $200,000 and why didn't he announced his earlier profiteering? Is there something to hide? Apart from the 10.2million shares bought from friendly Kali and Co, did he accumulate from off market? I am sure he would, otherwise, he do not deserve to be from Oxbridge...

Whatever it is, this is chicken feed sum... there were more behind the smoke screen... those other commissions generated from the financial advisory acts and collaborations with Khazanah .... Only Azman Mokhtar cn tell the truth... Azman-Khairy Chronicles??? Oh, RPK should write and publish!!!
