Khairy out of the Cage?

Did you managed to get out of the cage?

Lion's or tiger or monkey's cage?

I am impressed by your caged write-up, young boy!

So, no matter how you explained, it will always be met with a healthy dose of sceptism. Even if the explanation is crystal clear, logical and factual we are still looking for that prawn hiding behind the rock.

You are wrong, toyboy! People are not fools and do not treat them as morons. If you would look back, in your early years, the commoners are so supportive of you and your endeavour. There were even supportive of you in your quest to be the Chief Operating Officer of Khazanah. There were calls to the Prime Minister, your father-in-law, that he shouldn't constraint himself to the fact that you are his son-in-law, such that you are "disqualified" for that post. But you didn't get that post because of Azman Mokhtar, the CEO of Khazanah, as he has his own opinion of you. In fact, I was one of the commoner who had supported the call, but I'm just a commoner, who has no power or influence in Khazanah; otherwise, I would have you recommended and installed.

In your column, Out of the cage, you said: "If it has been revealed, for example, that a company partly-owned by a relative of the Prime Minister had won contracts from government-owned companies through a transparent, open tender, why is that fact used as a political weapon?"

What do you mean, young boy? Who used it as a political weapon? If the process of the tender and award had been transparent and that the public had been provided with informed decision, I do not think it would had been considered evidence of nepotism. It is hard to digest that a smallish company like Scomi, having annual revenues of approx RM100-200 million, during the Mahathir's era, would suddenly within these 2 years secured billions of dollars of contract in so many industries, ranging from oil & gas, bus and transportation, LRT and monorail, shipping, etc, etc. Is it so coincidental that the business expanded on within this 2 years when his father is the prime minister?

Similarly, you said you borrowed $9 million from your friends Kali and COO David Chua and CEO Lim Kian Onn to purchase the ECM-Libra shares. We didn't doubt you (except Mahathir). But when you sell the shares, you said that you would only sell it to Malays to protect the interest of Malay ownership; that's not fair as you bought them partly from the Chinese who were kind enough to give you interest-free loan to acquire it. We didn't care who you sell it to, as it is your choice but why did you proclaimed it as though you are doing some kind of "jihad"? Your business partners are mostly Chinese - Lim Kian Onn, David Chua (from ECM-Libra) Dr Liew Boon Horng (from Ethos Consulting) and Jason Lo (MyTeam) and many more (we know). You were liberal in your business undertaking and partnership with the "infidels" but when you are in UMNO forums, you shouted racial rhetorics as if the Chinese were out there to swallow the Malays? In most cases, the Chinese were the ones who had provided financial assistance and entrepreneurial assistance to their Malays friends and associates and often we can see that they are great partners in their ventures. Why do you have to single out a unique race as some kind of "enemy" of the nation? Is it to enhance your political ascension? Is it the price you were prepared to pay in order to reach the pinnacle of your political career, even at the expense of destroying the social fabric of the nation?

You were well educated and you graduated from an Ivy League University in UK. You were educated in UK about Human Rights and Social justice. You had the knowledge and intelligence; but for the sake of political stardom, you were prepared to tear apart the social fabric of this nation, a prize at a price!

Believe me, I am not a Muslim but I read the Quran and I am passionate in the Islamic knowledge and the teaching of the beloved Prophet Muhammad. I understand what Islam stands for. The word 'Islam' means submission to god, and a Muslim is one who follows the laws of Islam. Even non-Muslims follows the teaching enunciated.

The Holy Quran says:

"Do not avert your face from people out of haughtiness and do not strut about arrogantly on the earth. Allah does not love anyone who is vain or boastful." (31:18)

You (Khairy) said: "For me, if we truly fight for our own race, one should not apologise?"

But the Pope apologise and have deep regret over what he said of which he believed it was meant to be an intellectual discourse. Yet, you wouldn't apologise when in fact you insinuated against another community who are your friends, your political alliance/partners and also your fella Malaysian citizens. You chose to be "make" them "enemies of the Malays" and now they had responded in equity. But when the time comes for general election, you would want brotherhood.

The Quran Say: "Bad things and good things are not the same, even though the abundance of the bad things may seem attractive to you.' Have fear of Allah, people of intelligence, so that hopefully you will be successful." (5:100)

"You who believe! Avoid most suspicion. Indeed some suspicion is a crime. And do not spy and do not backbite one another. Would any of you like to eat his brother's dead flesh? No, you would hate it. And have fear of Allah. Allah is Ever-Returning, Most Merciful." (49:12)

"(Do not obey) any backbiter, slandermonger." (68:11)

"Woe to every faultfinding backbiter." (104:1)

I hope you would follow the way of life as enunciated in the Quran and the teaching of the beloved Prophet. The holy Prophet could live with non-Muslims and cared for them. Could you?
