PETALING JAYA: Police are looking for a suspected rapist who left his 23-year-old victim without clothes at PJS 5, Old Klang Road, on Saturday. Petaling Jaya Utara CID chief Supt Ahmad Radzil Yaacob said the man, in his 20s, is about 1.63m tall with a dark complexion. He said the suspect and an accomplice, also in his 20s, were said to have abducted the woman while she was sleeping in her car parked along the road at about 4am.
"The woman, who was on the way home from a pub in Sunway, was sleepy, so she pulled over to the roadside after passing the New Pantai Expressway Highway toll near Old Klang Road."
"Minutes later, two men abducted her and took her to an unknown location where she was raped by them," he said, adding that they left the woman at PJS 5 without any clothes.
Supt Ahmad Radzil said the men took the woman's mobile phone and cash before driving off in her gold-coloured Perodua Kelisa car. He said the woman, who is married with three children, could only identify one suspect. It is learnt that the woman managed to find a plastic bag to cover herself before seeking help from two motorists, who were waiting near a restaurant for the rain to stop. They took her to the University Malaya Medical Centre for treatment. Those with information on the incident are urged to contact the nearest police station.

She's still the victim you know, being drunk and sleep in the car doesn't mean she deserves to be rape.

I am not a police officer in charge of the case and I can only sympathise with her; nothing more. I did not say she deserves to be rape because she sleeps on the road. What I suggest is that boozers must know the risk involves if you sleep on the road as currently the crime rates are high and it's risky to do such act.
If you are more altruistic, you can play an active part to help her or comfort her. I am not against her; but I would call on those girls to be alert of the risks associated with doing what she does.
Do your part if you are so passionate... I didn;t condemn her, nor say bad things about her. You can do more if your conscions are far altruistic. Bye!

About girls getting drunk and driving back alone at wee hours in the morning, Mave's just advising girls who fall in these category to know the risks of stopping at roadsides and suggest ways to deter these incidents. I don't think he's being all zealous over it and asking girls to stop drinking. Actually I WOULD ask these girls to know their limit on alcohol comsumption. No glory in knowing you could down 5 vodkas in 2 mins if you know you will 'need some time alone' in your car later. Like Mave suggested, what are your friends for?
