Familiar Birdies or Spooks

"We hope Khairy will not make such remarks again," MCA Youth chief Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said today. (Oct 4, 2006)

Sounds familiar? Compare with this:

“... he (LKY) has to give an assurance that such a statement should not be made again,” Abdullah said.

What can we learn?

Hahaha...interesting!!!

Liow Tiong Lai today (Oct 4, 2006) challenged Umno vice-chief Khairy Jamaluddin to show his sincerity to the Chinese community.

"If Khairy had never intended to hurt the feelings of the Chinese community as he claims, then he must do something to show his sincerity."

"He (Khairy) kept insisting that his remarks were taken out of context by the media so now he must act to show and prove his sincerity to the Chinese community," Liow told reporters.

LKY too claimed that his remarks are also taken out of context! Isn't LKY's remark also taken out of context?

LKY said: “I had no intention to meddle in your politics. I made the remarks in a free-flowing dialogue session with former US Secretary of Treasury Larry Summers before many foreign delegates. But we have to explain to our people the root cause of these difficulties in our bilateral relations. Otherwise Singaporeans will believe that their own government is doing wrong either to our own people or to Malaysia."

All the statements shared common characteristics, doesn't it?

Any difference with this? Be your own judge!

Which type of apology do you hope from Khairy - with a foot note for hurting or within merely academic apology?

In what ever form, can you afford to risk many by ever trusting the apologies of a Schemer?

No me, ever!!!
