Today, as I flip the NST, this article caption caught my eyes and suddenly, a chilling feelings strike my nerves and constrict my bowels.
WORK WITH ME, says President Bush.
Is it a coincidence or is it a norm?
My Prime Minister, the first day at work, he proclaimed to the people of the nation and to all his team members: "Work with Me, Not for Me!
But, through the last 3 years, we can observed that the statement is more like: "If you are going to work with me, you must first work for me and for my family. The rule of man is, or has always been, family first, then the others would pick the crumbs of leftovers.
President Bush had proven that those who do not work for him, is against him. Iraq and Afghanistan leaders had learn their lesson; North Korea and Iran wouldn't work for him; China refused to work for him; Britain and Australia works with him and for him... the consequences is not beyond apprehension.
Mahathir wouldn't work for him, nor with him, but would pay millions to shake his hand.
Pak Lah had proven that he can work with him and toe his ideology.
Back to the local scenes, those who can't take instruction from the 4th floor, most, if not all, suffered depression and rejection. Mukhriz learnt his lesson and Mokhazani did well to secure more Petronas projects because he had shown that he is smarter than Mukhriz. Mahathir had accepted a truce, probably, persuaded by Mokhzani.
Nazri, Johari and many others, they are great players... they know how to sail with the wind and they benefited from the crumbs, which is still lucrative and wealth fulfilling.
Give him another mandate, and we can learn more... that's about learning ... and of course, there is a price to pay for learning something...
