The Altatunya Shaariibuu muder trial has been transferred from judge K.N.Segara's hand to Judge Mohd Zaki Md Yassin. It will now be heard at the Shah Alam High Court.Judge Segara who had initially fixed the hearing in March next year, will now be mentioned on 9th. March to fixed the new hearing dates.
No reason was given for the change.
I believe the minister-in-charge should know.
One of the probable reason could be that Judge Segara's hand was full and that's why the hearing will have to commence only one year's time. But I think Shah Alam Criminal Courts are also having abundance of backlogs too as was common in each and every courts in Malaysia.
