Forest reserved convert to cemetary

The Muslim community at Kota Damansara was unhappy that a forest reserve will be converted to a grave yard.

Many were concerned why the state government would choose an area so close to the residential houses.

Dr. Salleh Mohd Nor said it was ridiculous to cut down the forest as there were other areas that could be looked into for burial purpose.

The forest reserve was the last remaining forest land close to KL. Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM) used the area for their research.

In the 1980s the Selangor state government had de-gazetted the forest reserve for housing development to form the township of Kota Damansara and to please the critics, the govt built a smallish botanical garden with few pots of flowers and a few trees to resemble micro-mini forest.

Ironically, the state government is looking into private land to convert it to forest reserve via compulsory acquisition, using the law to force owner to surrender their land with meager compensation. It would be interesting to note that, years later, these acquired land will then be de-gazetted as residential development and given to some "special people" who "deserved" it.

What the govt did was fair and reasonable. The fact remains is that we chose them to do it and they did as expected. Be thankful to ourselves.

It saddens me to see the trees coming down and land taken away. Even the land of the Orang Asli.

I travel regularly along the Seremban-Jelebu road and each time I gaze at the bald patches of forest, the size of which expands over time, I understand that it matters not who the MB is. Things just continue the same way so long as all are under BN.

Their actions often very illogical and raise suspicion.

Let me speculate.
1. Maybe, this is their 'correct' method of wealth distribution; rob from the poor and give to the filthy rich.
2. Maybe, the filthy rich wanted to stay close to the residential area when their time come. It can get pretty lonely out there if they are banished to the cemetery because of their sin.

As I mentioned earlier, this is the authorities' biggest scam of all times. Acquire land cheap. Say it is for a park or a reserve. Keep it for a few years. Then sell it to VIPs cheap for development.

To be a good benign being is to from a philanthropic of openness to the in the seventh heaven, an cleverness to trust aleatory things beyond your own manage, that can govern you to be shattered in very extreme circumstances on which you were not to blame. That says something exceedingly weighty with the prerequisite of the honest compulsion: that it is based on a trust in the fitful and on a willingness to be exposed; it's based on being more like a shop than like a prize, something kind of feeble, but whose very precise attractiveness is inseparable from that fragility.
