You can shout yourself hoarse, cry till the cow comes home, complained as much, but nothing can happen or will happen.
If your constituency needs development, needs streetlight, needs to resurface the roads and clean the public drain or needs a civic center, you have to pray hard, but nothing will happen and the community will have to live with their dilemma.
But if you are lucky, or, should I say, your district or division representative will help to make it lucky for you, he must die, so that you can have what you wish, even if it's a dream.
Machap and Ijok have proven beyond any reasonable doubt that Malaysians have to pray that their state assemblyman dies soonest possible or the member of parliament must die often. It's not because we are evil minded or that we are saddist. It's because it's the only way to get the government to act fast and super efficient. By-election is better than general election because the government machineries and the government itself will be totally focused at your district or division.
In a by-election, even if you had only dream it to happen, it will happen. If for example, you had dream that the mentri besar will drive a schoolbus to fetch children to a kindergarden, it will happen.
If you wanted UMNO and Khairy to address you as "Malaysian" with rights and privilege, it can happen if there is a by-election.
Just think of anything, even if you consider it a daydream or a fallacious dream, but your dream can come true instantaneously, if you are lucky, that, your Yang Berhormat should die, soonest possible.
It seems that the national ambition or objectives such as social integration and racial integration, can only be achieved if there is a by-election at least, one every month, better, if twice a month, but must be regular and consistent. As we go to church or to mosque, or to any temple, our hearts will be heavy, but we aren't have any choice ... we have to, and can only, pray, that death is and will be the only way to fulfill the aspiration of the society at large, in the best interest of the community, under the doctrine of Utilitarianism, at the price of Natural Law Theory.

well said, mave. 100% agree.
oh death, thy sting sure doesn't hurt in this case.
No need for them to die-lah, just for them to be sacked for corruption (like Kasitah Gaddam) or jailed for murder(like Mokhtar Hashim)
If such prayers do work, the churches and temples will be packed to the brim! Still, no harm trying, eh? LOL
And you bet it. Chinese Taoist worshipper will set up a temple and put all their representative name in the wooden plaque - San-Ju-Pai (Cantonese - a plaque that represent the decease)
Hmmmmm, maybe we can request Mob1900 to do one standard prayer plaque. Just for fun.
Next GE, we must demand sickly or terminally ill BN's representatives. Better still if certified by doctor to be going off soon. Make it a non-negotiable criteria to vote for BN.
How i wish I MP will die immediately.
death wishes mean bad feng shui? how eh? may be, wish all the BN MPs or assemblyman have a heart attack and has to resign on medical grounds. horray, then at least the common rakyat can enjoy some goodies.
'Raining Bribery/Corruption/TaxPayer's Money' in Ijok should be a more concise title for the article.
