Nazri's Illusion with Independence

Hear ye, hear ye,

Nazri Aziz has this to explain:

“Only if a Commission can say it was sent down from heaven and appointed by God, ca it truly be independent. The words “independent Judicial Commission” are an illusion.”

"The members will always be beholden to somebody, the persons who appointed them."

-Datuk Nazri Aziz
Minister in the PM Dept.

Do you agree with what he said? That nothing can be independent?

Is he also saying that our Anti-Corruption Agency is never ever independent as they are appointed by the Prime Minister himself? Is he also suggesting that the Police can never be independent because it was also appointed by the Minister and Prime Minister? Will he be suggesting that, in Malaysia, it shall be an illusion to us about the system's independence and that, factually and empirically, it will never exist in any part of our system? That the Executive, the Judiciary and the Legislators are all beholden to the person who appointed them?

So, by applying Nazri's doctrine, our judiciary and executives are all beholden to the PM and his coterie of Ministers?

If what Nazri said is true of Malaysian political system, then the people who elected them are asinine.

Is it some sort of philosophy or what?

Perhaps the so called national independent is just an illusions.

Nazri is right....so it applies to the "BN Family". Tunku Abdul Rahman was right because deep in his heart, malaysians are all in the family, only during his time. NOT NOW. Nazri is therefore right in every sense he wants to spin. The "BN" is no longer a family. How could it be? Do you conscientiously discriminate one of your children against another (of your own kind), if indeed, is a family. Do you sleep in the same bed with different dreams? Or is it an illusion? Yes, God will NOT send a commission, but indeed, God will send punishments of sorts against people especially politicians that betray their religious principles. Time will tell. Divine laws have no mercy and will not discriminate between the rich and poor, the powerful and powerless. Only righteousness stands and divine chain of reactions will come surely....maybe sooner enough.

A brainwashing session by Kim Jom Il? No need to wonder where bolehland is heading.

I don't see how this regime is better than recent day communist in China. Convince me that I am wrong.

"The members will always be beholden to somebody, the persons who appointed them." Err..so Ab Rashid of the EC is always beholden to BN which appointed him? So is this a democracy when its EC is beholden to its government of the day?

He is saying:

1. None of the previous Commissions were ever independent.

2. All the Commissions previously appointed by the government were beholden to the government.

3. There is no need for a Commission for any matter at all, since from the date it is appointed we already know which side the Commission is going to serve.

4. It's a waste of time to debate the need for Commissions.

his position is given to him by the PM> he is no longer independent. if the PM tells him to shit in his pants right in front of 100,000 people to prove his loyalty, he will just do that. he hasnt even got the guts to stand up and say I gotta do what is right and be independent.
thats BN for you.

Nazri is beholden to the PM.

So is he echoing what the PM thinks?
