Thirumoorthy was the MIC Kuala Selangor chief and had expected to be selected to contest for the Ijok state seat.But Samy Vellu do not think he is fit and had instead nominated K. Parthiban to contest.
Samy said Thiru need not resign from MIC but he doesn't want to see him anymore in MIC.
Thiru said he needn't resign since his chief doesn't want him anymore.
But Thiru showed his "loyalty" to Najib. He affirmed his support to K. Parthiban even though he was against him.
Thiru proved that a person need not be loyal to his own party chief but impliedly will support the party who rejected him since he stll need the BN to further his personal political career.
So what is loyalty? If you are a member of a political party who belongs to a group, will you be able to contribute to the group if your own party sacks you and your own boss didn't want you and didn't want to see you anymore?
Maybe, some can.
Some even can sell their souls to ensure certain interest is sustained. They call it loyalty, discreet loyalty. But it's a willing buyer, willing seller philosophy. It's laissez faire econo-political doctrine.

Jokers like Thiru and SV perpetuate the negative perception about the Indian community in Malaysia. And this latest wayang shows how low a person is willing to stoop to protect his own ricebowl.
I hope Ijok voters are smart enough to take the money AND teach these folks a hard lesson on hypocrisy. If not, they deserve another 20 years of being relegated to the boondocks.
would you seriously think people who has tasted power like thiru would be so brave to resign. He would stand to LOOSE A LOT. quite cliche, but i've to say this -

This Thiru guy made a sudden u-turn due to the pressures given by the education minister...such as transfer, gratuity and also delaying his penchant. What to do poor guy, and his has no choice.
