Has Syed Mokhtar link up with BinLaden?
MMC is reported to have linked up with the BinLaden group to develop the billion dollar Jazan Economic City in Saudi Arabia. The US$30bil (aboutRM320bil) Jazan zone is located in Western Saudi Arabia and covers about 100 sq km of land.
Syed Mokhtar will also inject another project (container terminal at JeddahIslamic port) that is worth RM1.6bil into MMC. Syed Mokhtar will also be teaming up with Iranian companies in the oil and gas businesses, both locally and foreign.

Out of the blue, people got billions to spend. Even Ananda cannot do that. Maybe, the forbes' rich list is not so accurate.
