His 3-wives then persuaded their own daughters to have sex with their 46-year-old polygamous husband.
The third wife had persuaded all her 3-daughters, one 12-year-old daughter and two other girls aged 14 and 15 to have sex with their father on multiple occasions in 2004 and 2005.
The second wife, 38, persuaded her daughter, 14, to have sex with her father in January 2005.
The first wife, 39, admitted involving her 14-year-old daughter in June 2004.
The offences came to light in June 2005, when the first wife’s daughter, now 17, told police that her father had raped her. Investigations showed that five other half-sisters had also been forced to have sex with him.
Between December 2003 and March 2005, he committed incest with all five victims, two of whom became pregnant and had abortions.
Yesterday, District Judge Shaiffudin Saruwan said the three women had “meekly surrendered their maternal instinct and duty to protect their daughters”, instead of preventing them from falling prey to sexual perversion.
“They participated in the sordid conspiracy by actively persuading their daughters to submit to the sexual violations,” he said.
The victims had agreed because they respected and trusted their mother.
The man’s third wife, 41, pleaded guilty to three of six charges, was sentenced to 9 years. The other two women were convicted of one charge each and jailed for 3 years.
The husband, who was sentenced to 32 years in jail and 24 strokes of the cane.
The head of the Office of the Mufti at the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Muis), Ustaz Nazirudin Mohd Nasir, said the man had misused Quranic verses to support his actions, by falsely interpreting them in ways that were unanimously rejected by all scholars of Islam.

huh? really? that is in the quran? the first part (that a father had absolute ownership over his children) i understand if it is there but the 2nd part (re: sexual relationship), i'm sure was made up by the father.
gee, i can't believe all the 3 wives can let their own daughters have sex with their husband. does it means they gave birth to daughters so that their husband can have sex with them????

Quran does NOT state things like that..If a man to take polygamy, yes, BUT with certain rules. NOT to rape its daughters.
Think logically. Every religion has taught their followers to be good in life. Does it make good sense by saying that? ("That a father had absolute ownership over his children, which extended to sexual relations with his daughter").
Tell me, in which surah (verse) DOES state that in Quran.
