Islam Hadhari Commercialised?

The government is going to spent RM250mil for Wakaf projects where the land are donated specifically for religious or charitable purposes.

In the law of Charity, where the donations are specifically meant for religious and charitable purpose, would the use of such donations which will now be utilised for commercial purposes falls under the intended purpose which are meant to be charitable and must be for religious purpose.

This is a question of law and not discretionary. A law is a law and laws are not allowed to be interpreted to suit the whims and fancies of anyone.

This is the landmark building for Islam Hadhari.

Would this building be occupied by those who will be dedicating their acts for religious and charitable purposes?

Religion is concerned with ‘man’s relationship with God’. Two of the essential attributes of religion are faith and worship of God. The focus is on belief in god or the promotion of spiritual teaching connected to religious activities.

The important point to note is that a charitable religious purpose requires public benefit as a whole and not towards a class of society.
Acts of wakaf are the embodiment of Islam Hadhari, sayd Datuk Dr Abdullah Md Zin, Minister in the PM’s department.

A wakaf is property dedicated in perpetuity for religious or charitable purposes. To create and administer a wakaf is an act founded on peity.

This wakaf development project in Jalan Perak, KL will bring a shift in mindset and spur the growth of wakaf as a pillar of development, says Dr Abdullah.

Was the idea specifically meant to benefit the selected few? I don't know!

The Islamic Malaysian government should stop spending taxpayers money (which doesnt all belong to muslims) on architectures to show how islamic the nation is. enough of religion - a sacred relationship between man and a higher power. If they are serious about being true to islam, how about spending some money research time and energy to understand why incest is rampant amongst muslims, who born muslims want to opt of islam, why bribery and laziness is part of the malay(muslim) malaise, why the maays are polarised in their values.

Preaching at the house of God has obviously not done as much good, so time to try a new method.

Do you trust this ppl? NO! The benefit from this project of course will only go to selected few ppl on the high places including the known Hadhari Ulamaks, its doesnt goes to the poor who are should be the actual receipient. To do charity or donation needs one intention Niat either for religion or social purpose, i rather made this through Amanah Raya Berhad coz they are run by professional. BTW God knows one deeds.
