But the problem is Johor was about rape cases and gangsterism??? I have yet to read about serial rapist being arrested nor gangsters being arrested. How come the people in Johor are so confident that the criminal problems had being resolved?
I wonder if the confidence is due to the fact that certain officers had being replaced and that by itself made Johor safe or the fact that there was no rape cases over the past two days that gives the people confidence that the state is now safe. Or, is the confidence merely NST's presumption or that NST was made to believe that???

Johor now is very safe since they deployed more than 700 police personnel there. Bismillah, our police are so ugly that the sight of their mugs scared away all the criminals in Johor within 48 hours. The UN should deploy these 700 uglies to Darfur where they would scare away all those Janjaweed rapists and murderers without a shot being fired. (That is to say, if they were not raped first by the Janjaweed)
i prefer to give them the benefit of doubt, rather than shooting the idea down. i am just wondering when are they going to deploy this perfect, yet simple solution to other places, so that all of us will feel safer.
To fight crimes, we need efficient policemen and brainy detectives, also not forgetting, strict law. NOT additional 700 people who does nothing but minum kopi! KNN!
living in JB myself I can "safely" say that we Johoreans dont feel that safe yet. The papers have just decided to put up that headline prob cuz the Goverment n Police want to pretend that the prob is solve. To be honest, I have seen an increase of patrol cars in JB, they r even helicopters carrying out rounds nowdays, hoping that the situation gets better soon n JB nitelife can return to norm.
