According to Prime Minister Pak Lah, Muslim nations have been weakened by their leaders failure.
"It is a failure if Muslim leaders cannot ensure that their people receive a "solid education".
Pak Lah said lack of knowledge was the cause. "We're lazy in seeking knowledge. This is the real failure of the Muslim World today."
Has this hypothesis been tested in Malaysian environment to determine whether it was a positive corelation?
In a separate statement, Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak said our cities must aggressively embark to provide physical infrastructure for the acquisition of knowledge. To Najib, Town-planners and city-planners must incorporate the culture of learning into the policies such as encouraging learning centers such as libraries and research facilities for the underprivileged.
Najib said the decline of the Islamic world came about when Muslims lost their zeal of knowledge, became mired in their own politics and influenced by convoluted and misguided ideas about the religion.

We can observed that our PM and DPM seems to have discovered the profound knowledge. But why are we still facing the same problem since we know of the solution? Can the PM and his deputy overcome them? If the two most powerful person in the nation is still talking about the same old problem and preaching the same old tune, and singing the same old song, we must have got the nation into the gulf encircled within an abyss.

The prime minister's son-in-law is a very good example of what education alone cannot make this country a better place to live for every citizen of this country.
