I agree with bobjots and Lucia in calling my fellow Christians to join us to say NO to Makkal Osai's suspension and urge that it be lifted.
I am a Christian Malaysian and I am not offended by the accidental depiction of a picture of Jesus Christ holding a cigarette and a beer can in Makkal Osai. Cigarette and beer are not profanities.
Lift The Suspension Of Makkal Osai Immediately!
Do Not Use Our Faith As An Excuse For Oppression!

thanks for the support, mave. i knew i could count on you.
though the picture may be in bad taste but i still look to it as a small matter. since the daily had clarified and apologised, we just accept their apology and move on.
we have no hidden agenda so we will NOT:
- accept their apology but insisted that the law must still be on them (like the cabinet on namewee's issue).
- arrogantly not accept their apology like some people who were out for the blood of namewee.
- ignore their apology and asked the law to be on them, like MIC.
Bolehland going to patent this skin-sensitive syndrome.
When they gonna grow up and stop acting like cry babies?
Yes, let's just accept the apology and move on.
I've spoken to many CHristians and nobody seems to be offended. LOL
Yeah, it sucks isn't it when they're using Christianity for other 'reasons'.
Your support and the support of so many others in standing firm on Christian teachings and the example of Christ has been very encouraging.
I would say that it is probable that some offense or at least discomfort was caused by the published picture. But as an apology was already tendered, there was absolutely no need to dwell on the matter any more. In fact, I suspect that we would have moved on nonetheless even if an apology was not tendered.
Thanks again and blessings.
I am a Roman Catholic and quite honestly, I am not moved by what has been printed by Makkai Osai. I guess as Christians, we have been indoctrinated from young to forgive, forget and love your fellow human beings, and this is strongly highlighted when Jesus Christ was about to breathe his last on the cross, "Father forgive them for they know not what they did!" That kind of summarises everything a Christian should be and should do.
In the whole world's sustenance, at some pass‚, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into zeal beside an encounter with another hominoid being. We should all be thankful recompense those people who rekindle the inner inspiration
