Raja Petra Challenge UMNO to a public debate

Now, Raja Petra Kamaruddin challenges Muhammad Muhammad Taib to a public debate. In his article today, 20/08: Muhammad son of Muhammad, I accept!

Excerpts:

[Quote] ...I am prepared to make your job easier for you, Muhammad son of Muhammad. I am going to allow you to organise another gathering at the PWTC like you did last Saturday. I am prepared to step onto the stage and face your 2,500 Umno members in a gathering organised by Umno and repeat all my allegations live, on Malaysian soil, in the Umno headquarters. I will remove the protection that I now have and throw myself to the mercy of the government to do what it wants to me.

I will repeat my allegation live, on Malaysian soil, in the Umno headquarters,...

Actually, it is the local hosting companies who have their servers in Cyberjaya who are pengecut. The instant I mention Malaysia Today, none of the local boys would dare touch us, especially those companies owned by Chinese. I mean, when you watch those Kung Fu movies from Hong Kong and one brave soul like Bruce Lee, Chan Kwan Tai, Ti Lung, Jackie Chan, etc., single-handedly take on 100 bad hombres, you would expect that Chinese in real life would be very brave indeed. Alas, this is not the case.

That is how scared the Chinese are. So please don’t get taken in by those Kung Fu movies of one hero facing 100 evil people and beating these 100 people with just one punch. The Chinese are scared shit. They do not dare get involved in anything perceived as anti-government. They will manufacture porn. They will act as pimps and run brothels. They will traffic in drugs. They will assassinate MCA leaders and underworld leaders (most times they are one and the same). They will run illegal lotteries and gambling operations. They will run loan sharking businesses and burn your house down and kidnap your children if you do not pay. They will rob banks and goldsmith shops. This, they dare do. But they will never manufacture anti-government VCDs. And they will never, ever host Malaysia Today on their servers. [Unquote]

Raja Petra, I agree with you about the Chinese. They are pengecut. They can't be hero here; they can't have balls.

However, this is the social and political reality... there is no law that can protect them against harm, oppression, subordination and discrimination. Justice is illusory and elective.

The justice system is manhandled by those with political power and the prime minister and his de facto law minister decides what is justice based on their desire. The political masters can appoint and remove any faultless judge without fear or favour. Salleh Abas was declared by the former prime minister as suffering from insanity and insane delusion when Mahathir removed him. The judicial tribunal could not find any evidence to fault him but was also incapacitated to restore his dignity and integrity too. The other Federal Court judges also suffered the same fate during the constitutional crisis back then.

MCA and Gerakan are Chinese parties who prided themselves as the protector of the Chinese and Malaysians. But Wee Meng Chee's case proved that MCA can do nothing and have no ability to defend a boy who is only 24 and had not killed anyone nor hurt anybody. He just sang a rap song and if the lyrics hurt the Malays, he had apologised.

Khairy had also hurt the Chinese but he wouldn't apologize.

Khairy had then said:

"It has never crossed my mind to apologize to those who are hurt by what I said ... For me, if we truly fight for our race, one should not apologize."

Raja Petra, the social reality is not about balls. It's about the presence of a justice system which could protect the people, the citizen. But if the justice system is exercised by the political masters who have the power and authority to arbitrarily exert their whims and fancies and exercise wide discretionary authority which taint justice with injustice, then, the citizens are at the full mercy of the bigots.

We can cry injustice and discrimination, but our voices will be drowned by the UMNO general assembly. We can cry pain and grievous hurts, but no one will come to our aid and give us shelter and protection. We have MCA and Gerakan and MIC who betrayed the trusts of the people who voted them into power. These leaders shared the common values as UMNO, that is, to plunder as much as possible and then migrate elsewhere with all their family members.

Did we have a choice? Ya, we do! But the choice is to vote PAS who protects the people and abide by the teaching in the Quran. However, PAS has stated unequivocally that they would make the nation an Islamic State. It is not that we fear Islam but we feared those who had the power to put us under subordination by using and abusing Islam through their own set of interpretations. We had observed much of those muftis who interpreted Islam based on their own perceptions and ideology. They emphasized much on clothings, purdah, and entertainment issues as the key issues of Islamic behaviors. But they talk little and have little to proof that they are more serious with issues such as corruption, discrimination, poverty, rising crimes such as murder, rape or parliamentary robbery and human equality. These issues are as if they do not form part of Islamic teaching.

Are Chinese pengecut? Ya. We better be because the govt are giving citizenships to Indonesians and Filipinos in order to increase UMNO's majority to 75% so that they can make law or amend the constitution without the need of others.

When it comes to any matter which may earn the displeasure of those in power, there is no rule of law in this country. The law is what the UMNO says it is. They choose when to act, and when to close both eyes, based on what is beneficial to them.
That's why many people just shut up and just get on with their private lives, or only criticise in private, or run anonymous blogs hosted overseas

Well, the Chinese are known to be extremely adaptive.

It's still Chinese mentality to look to $$ before anything else. Take for example the MCA. THey talk about standing up for the Chinese and so on... If they're so dead serious, leave the coalition.

Do they dare?

Again it shows, we deserve the people whom we vote into office. For the future of Malaysia as a whole none of them can see it as one nation struggling into an increaslingly competative world.

It has always been us and them. Divisive politics. After 50 years of division, we cannot see any unifying factor that glued us together any more. All the claims by the politians now become an empty call. No one believes all that BS anymore.

The track record shows up time and again. Failed projects, prefered race.

Chinese scared? Some have left, some have sent their children to study and seek employment overseas. Many just park their money overseas. Scared? No, just getting ready.
