Malaysian still cares!

I am really glad to know that our Prime Minister now gets to know that Malaysians still cares.

NST proclaimed loudly that Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said "Nice to know caring 'still part of Malaysian life'.

It sounds that the PM was surprised! Pm was surprise to find that Caring is still a part of Malaysian life???

Is it shocking? I'm perplex! But, no, I am not now... because we know the police don't care; the ministers don't care, the BN parliamentarians not only don't care but made every effort to ridicule the people calling women leaking, monkeys, pondans, loose wire, etc.

Even the Lord Justices was concerned about lack of care.

Court of Appeal judge Datuk Suriyadi Halim Omar in the case of Ngan Chong Meng & Ngui Pau Keong vs the Govt of Malaysia questioned whether the police action in firing 28 bullets was to stop the vehicle or to kill or injure the passengers. According to Suriyadi, "if you want to stop the vehicle, you may need to fire two or three shots at the tyre." The police fired 28 shots at the upper part of the car and there were no bullet holes on the tyres. In Suriyadi's words, "The shots were fired sporadically as if to kill someone." Lord Justice Datuk Vincent Ng Kim Khoay described the police shooting as something that happened in a "cowboy town". It was held that the police did not act with due care and were negligent.

So, you can probably understand why our PM was surprised to find out that Malaysians still cares.

Sometimes I wonder if his off-the-cuff speeches are snippets from a badly written script he dreamt up while sleeping.
