Streamyx line was down since yesterday afternoon. I called Telekom and they said "No Problem" but, the problem persisted. And I called again today, and they said "No Problem".
So, what was the problem?
The kind hearted girl, I think she's Indian, tell me she will reset and asked me to switch off for 15 minutes. True enough, the line is now ok. So, what's the problem? I don't know.
Can some I.T. guys help me explain????

No, I don't think its your modem as stated by Ali, as I've experienced same thing several times already.
Supposedly, its caused by some memory problems at your switch in the pizza box - as tmnet call their exchange box. Sometimes the matter is easily resolved by the switch at VADS itself - the complaint center - otherwise they'll need to send their technicians to that pizza box. To date, I have yet to receive any specific technical explanation which satisfy me.
