MCA leaders says MCA is no more relevant

Selangor MCA call for Ong Ka Ting's resignation

"Now that MCA fared badly, he (Ong Ka Ting) should take responsibility and step down. Be a gentleman and resign,” spokesperson Datuk Theng Book, who is also Puchong MCA division youth chief, told a press conference today.

Datuk Theng said Selangor members are taking the lead to voice out their disappointment over Ong’s leadership. “If we don’t do it, there won’t any future for the party. We might not be able recapture the lost seats and in the long run, the party might ceased to be relevant.”

Ipoh Timur MCA division deputy chief Datuk Thong Fah Chong felt MCA had let the BN down and today, the MCA seemed irrelevant.

“The MCA should leave BN if it is no longer relevant to the Chinese. I believe the party has to change for the better. Should the party continue to do things that are not delivering to the Chinese, then it should not exist," Datuk Thong said.

Dear Theng & Thong things,

I have to agree with you in absoluteness that MCA is now irrelevant to the Chinese. We don't trust MCA anymore. MCA has to change radically and drastically. You have not let the BN down (BN is down by its own deadweight); you have let the Chinese upside down and we Chinese believed that you should either ceased to exist or do a total overhaul. Ong Ka Ting or Ong Ka Chuan makes no difference to us Chinese; neither do Chan Kong Choyed or Chua Soi Lek or Chua Jui Meng. We just can't seem to observed an honest leader within MCA. Maybe, its better that MCA dissolved itself and join PKR or DAP.

its time to abandon race politics and that means MCA's aim to represent the Chinese community is redundant.

its time to talk about righting wrongs made during BN's tenure. how to unravel deep rooted corruption, resurrecting the judiciary, edify it from ever being under the influence of the Executive, address poverty...

building bridges amongst the races again.

self serving politicians have had their day and do not deserve second chances, too much time have been wasted. the population grows old only once, don't waste the nation's lives!

I have been following your blog for quite sometime but I don't know who you are.
I sort of always agree with the things you wrote, and for that, you've earned some degree of respect from me.

Jefus,

I totally agree with you that it's time to abandon race-based politic and dismantle race-based political parties. We hope that with BR we will have a two-party system just like the USA.

Dear Anon 11:43pm,

I fully agree that it's time we talk about rights of a Malaysian as enshrined within the constitution. We are Malaysian, not Chinese Malaysian, Malay Malaysian or Indian Malaysian. Malaysian is only one Bangsa.

Dear Anon 11:50,

Thank you very much for spending your valuable time to read my garbages. I value your motivating words.

Dear Both Anons,

I would appreciate if you could sign-in with a moniker or nickname which helps me to address your comments and reply to you with definitive name. I normally do not reply to anonymous commenters, not because I do not respect what they write but it's just difficult to address them all as "anons" as it is disrespectful. Appreciate your kind consideration.

"...its better that MCA dissolved itself and join PKR or DAP."

Seems better if PKR and DAP reject such detritus. The best thing they can do for everyone is to slink away quietly into the darkness of night, and not attempt to reinvent themselves with all the encrusted grime that they've long acquired.

To OKT and the MCA leadership.

Why is it that every year, hundreds of high achieving non-Malay students have to grovel to get admission into local universities ?

If you can resolve this issue, you are well on the way to become relevant as it is for the development of all Malaysians that we have the best and brightest.

For all the argument made by MCA that they still represent the Chinese community, the fact is a majority of the Chinese do not see it that way anymore. Racial chauvinism has to end and it has to start with the MCA for soon it will be come totally irrelevant and just fade away into the sunset. These MCA morons still do not know that they do not answer to the people they are supposed to serve but to UMNO. And as long as they are part of the BN coalition with UMNO at the helm, they are nothing but a window dressing, and powerless. So people like Ong Ka Chuan and his ilks have better stop deceiving themselve. Your days are numbered and you have better quit while the going is good or another tsunami is going to wash you away to the shores of Africa.

the fact is mca is left with a president & a member... one is okt & the other is okc.

Not fair for Teng and Tong to ask only Ting to resign--- mucho better if all the Tengs, Tongs and Tings ect resign and dissolve mca

Wits0,

Purple Haze,

THIS is MCA cultures.

I think people will start dislike me me related everything to "culture". ;)

Apparently, MCA has brew unhealthy cultures for decades, they REFUSE to admit it. Just look at how they react after they lost!!! Oh my.

MCA exco, members that blame OKT should take a mirror and look at themselves. Ong Ka Ting alone CANNOT destroy MCA, but with the help of MCA members, exco.

Patrick Yeoh has described an example of the MCA cultural Niamah! :

"This Lee Hwa Beng chap lost in the contest for Kelana Jaya by 5,031 votes. Okay, in any elections there are losers and winners. But this thick skinned fler has the cheek to say, "I forgive them, there's no bitterness at all. This is God's will..."

He forgives the people who didn't vote for him? Just who the hell does he think he is? And he blames it on God that he lost? You lost because you didn't do the job that your constituents voted you in the last time to do. Pure and simple. God didn't screw up. You did, Lee. Take the rap and beg forgiveness from Him for using His name in vain.

Jeeesus!!! The nerve of some people. Really!

Niamah!!!"

ROTLOL!

Moo_t,

What you say it's true; but leaders have to take all the blame as this is what is defined.

Wits0,

That Lee Hwa Beng talk nonsense!

Patrick, for your info, this fler Lee need not beg forgiveness from God 'cos he prays to Allah
