Pak Lah felt betrayed

Now they are willing to betray him.

Just one day before our Prime Minister and Umno President Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was scheduled to visit Umno Johor tomorrow, it is learnt that a large group of Umno division leaders in Johor had held a meeting at the residence of Johor Menteri Besar Abdul Ghani Othman and resolved to asked Pak Lah to go on leave before the Umno party elections scheduled for December 16-20 in order to "assuage the anger of Umno members".

According to them, Abdullah should hand over his duties as Umno President and his Prime Ministership to his deputy Najib Abdul Razak during this period.

This call was made during a meeting between 20 division leaders with Johor Menteri Besar Abdul Ghani Othman at the latter’s residence in Johor Bahru early this week.

However, six other division leaders, who also hold ministerial positions, were not invited for the meeting.

These are Umno Youth chief Hishammuddin Hussein (Semberong), Shahrir Abdul Samad (Johor Bahru), Khaled Nordin (Pasir Gudang), Syed Hamid Albar (Kota Tinggi), Muhyiddin Yassin (Pagoh) and Dr Abdul Latiff Ahmad (Mersing).

Also not invited were Tourism Minister Azalina Othman Said and Deputy Human Resources Minister Noraini Ahmad.

"This (Abdullah going on leave) is the best way to save Umno from becoming a directionless party. The more Abdullah talks, more confusion arises," said a division leader who attended the meeting.

"Once the situation returns to normal, Abdullah can re-assume the post or give up and let Najib continue," he added.

The division leader said Umno grassroots in the state are concerned with the recent statements made by the prime minister.

The wind has blown up the roof. Umno Johor has the most number of delegates and the most number of divisions. Johor also have the most number of ministers. In Johor there is a total of 26 Umno divisions, followed by Sabah (25), Perak (24) and Selangor (22).

Will this be the sign of the beginning to an end of the Abdullah Dynasty? Who is behind this strategic action? Abdul Ghani doesn't have the balls to conduct such a meeting to pass such a resolution? Daim, are you there?

Nicely spotted article, dude. This is interesting to, to say the least. Now why can't the rotten MSM report stuff like this?

Everyone knows the supposedly monolithic BN is crumbling inwards because of the twit that calls himself PM, and those surround him.

Don't like the idea of the handing over of duties to another idiot, though. Yes, Pak Lah should 'go on leave', but he has to take the rest of the trash with him as well.

Haha, wonder how the people felt after being betrayed by promises unkept by Bad awi after the '04 election? With all the irony blowing in the wind if translatable literally, we'll be having the reddish Martian atmosphere in Bolehland!

Pak Lah is doomed, with this open revolt within UNMO. he is history.

I feel sad, cos I want his to continue as PM, at least until next election. He is the only person capable of delivering a stunning victory to PR.

Pak Lah will have to try harder this time.. not only to please the rakyat, but his 'people' as well..

Daim, are you there?

interesting question mave. what on earth gave you such inspiring moments of thoughts.

cakap mesti bikin siap siap said...

Pak Lah should take up the offer to go on leave with pay. Buatlah lawatan sambil belajar, boleh terbang sini sana, kapal terbang pun baru, kapal layar pun cantik:)

Enjoy while you can, life is short. Practice lah some elegant silence buat sementara waktu.

Take a break, just do it!

having read much about UMNO and BN before and after PRU12, i come to a conclusion that this party UMNO is comprised of members with high level of Inferiority Complex and lack of Confidence within themselves, as Individual and as Organisation.

such attributes are no longer able to thrust a person and/or leader to move forward.

sustainability of this sort organization is always in question and given a certain period of time, shorter than most expected, this UMNO and BN will collapsed from the local political scene hence becoming irrelevant to the future generation.

the sad story is coming closer and closer; much awaited though!

To make people to believe the party and BN are seriously going to reform, it is advisable to let a new man to lead the change. Basically, members and the public have lost faith and confidence on him and it is hard to change that believe.

Similar to the dying days of the Roman Empire, when greedy warlords used poison and treachery to get a shot at the emperor's throne.

20 Cent,

There is more to come; wait a while.

Wits0,

It's just the beginning; but I think Pak Lah is betrayed by his own people whom he had trusted.

Hopeful,

Pak Lah have a mammoth task.

CMBSS,

If I am Pak Lah, I wouldn't; I'll fight to the end.

Warisankini,

Thanks for the link. I had visited.

Ming Kuok,

I had written to you.

Ling Ling Chatt,

Oh, it was certain; inferiority complex is already a respectable word.

Malaysiantruly,

It can; but Pak Lah must have the determination and courage. He has to dismantle the 4th Floor first, and then remove some of the deadwood and corrupt ministers and replacing them with those with integrity such as the likes of Zaid Ibrahim.

I m a proud goblok

The day I admitted this fact was thanks to amno:
who said all bloggers were unemployed housewives blogging

- which HEY !!! I AM!!!

What's there to lose in admitting one's an idiot? It is actually rather liberating!!

On the other hand I have to thank our FEDERAL govt for elevating the status of Gobloks everywhere.

They should ask themselves these questions

Which party have the most gobloks in power?

Who are the gobloks wasting our time, resources and oxygen?

Who are the Ultimate Gobloks appointing the other gobloks?

case rest

at least I, as a self confessed goblok, am NOT wasting any resources of my country and neither am I enriching myself on the blood, sweat and toil of the downtrodden
