Another Malaysian woman claimed she is also a victim of an international drug syndicate when she was held at the Soto Del Real prison in Madrid, Spain.
Berita Harian reported that the woman had been held since March 20 for suspicion of trying to smuggle cocaine into Spain from Brazil.
The 24-year-old who works as a clerk in a company in Klang, Selangor, was detained at the Malaga airport in Madrid after authorities found more than a kilogram of the substance hidden at the bottom of a bag she brought from Brazil which she claimed she did not have any knowledge of the hidden bag of drugs.
The woman is believed to be "a victim" of the same syndicate, which entrapped Dayang Sakienah Mat Lazim, 20, and Norfaizura Azura Md Lias, 28, who are being detained in Malta for similar offences.
Was there a conspiracy to involve these women or was it wealth inspiration?Berita Harian reported that the woman had been held since March 20 for suspicion of trying to smuggle cocaine into Spain from Brazil.

Malaysia has hanged dozens of drug mules from Australia, HK and other places. So these malaysian drug mules deserve nothing better but hanging for their greed
These try-get-rich-quick women should now apply the "mohd bin mohd taib trick" viz. "Me no comprehendo no English/Spanish/French/German (whichever language is applicable in their case)
Alternatively they may confess to be Al-Qaeda drug operatives and hence be accorded prisoner of war status (i.e. no hanging for them)
it's a quick get rich scheme for them. but they are lucky cos they won't be hang. countries like Spain has a more lenient laws towards these people, i think it's about a few years jail only, less than 7 years.
I am not amused on this drug syndication of stupidities.
Recently, I just learn the Malaysian "jump airplane" move has make all Malaysians infamous "tourist" to EU and many countries. Malaysia tourists always be interrogate, unless they can show a proper traveling plan/invitation documents and confidence.
So it is a sheer stupidity for Malaysia to get involved in drug trafficking.
I say to all readers and commenters shut your mouth; go home and take care of your sons and daughters before they go wayward and ended up like Sufiah and the Drug "mules"
Charity and Righteousness begins at home
But I thought Sufiah is not a drug mule; she's just a sperm mule
If they really are innocent...
PLEASE help them
If not.............
Unfortunately, if one of these "innocent" girls is successful, she thinks it's easy money and tries again and may even influence if not recruit others to do the same. Of course, if she is caught, she is an "innocent victim".
Yes, I agree everything begins at home, at least to many of us.
But I wonder how the drug barons and traffickers freely conduct their evil business in all towns of malaysia without fear of any kind.
Tell me which town in malaysia dont sell some kind of drug. We have all sorts of anti drug agencies yet drugs are freely avaliable.
Same old same old.
All these girl were 'victims' of handsome ang moh they got to know 2 days earlier.
All these girls are adults. They make their own decisions.
We have Bangla foreign workers who look like Bollywood stars and they marry these people only to regret. We have some handsome ang mohs and they become mules in two days.
Very simple. This women thing they are always a protected species by Malaysian Government. Last time they sent prominent lawyer to fight case in Australia and won. Then the rest follow think that rich Malaysian Government no problem paying 1-2 million lawyer fee again.
Moo_t,
It's big reward and it's an alternative to NEP.
Edi,
Whether they are innocent or not will be determined by the court.
Famil,
Maybe, but more so for a clerk who travel round the world.
