Doctor said not serious lah; nobody had died; so not serious. More must die before it is classified as serious.

As I've said before, the real issue is the standard of hygiene and food safety in general in Malaysia. (i'm guessing that was the reason the students got sick). This recurring problem is not only happening in NS camps, but in school canteens, office cafeterias, army camps, and other situations where mass food production is involved. In that case also, even with stringent hygiene being employed even if we cook our own food at home, there are still instances where your family got down with food poisoning right?

But that saying, because the NS issue of highest public interest in this case, the food safety standards should be more than excellent, HACCP certified even. How about that?

All those Najises people should stop their 'nonsence propaganda' that the NS is good for the Rakyat's children. Just scrap it !!

How to teach our children about National unity when our leaders especially one old former leader, day in and day out are shouting out loud racist remarks ?? The NS is a waste of time and money. But then maybe it is not for certain persons.

I pay tax and don't have children, but I want the National Suicidal camp to be abolish than most ignorant parent that sending their children to the hell camp.

Ironically, no parent willing to raise their voice on the risk, nor there is civil disobedient start because of this shit "patriotism" invoking program.

Sandyow,

You are right; the NS program was suppose to have a QA/QC certifier to ensure the safety and health matters are of the right quality; but it didn't work as the certifier may also have been kautim.
