Last night, at 11.15pm, PKR sent out an SMS message stating that the police had detained Anwar’s special aide Saiful Bahari this afternoon and forced him to lodge a police report about being sodomized by his boss (refer: Lim Kit Siang's Blog).

As the date nears for Anwar to fulfil what he promised - to take over the government or to force another GE, BN is panicky and will do everything possible. AAB may no longer be the PM (though that is a foregone conclusion) and so is Najib, especially with the damage done by RPK's SD.

Another movie is The Departed, although there is a general consensus the original chinese one is better. Anyway, the majority of the panel in his appeal to the Federal Court did NOT think he was not guilty. He won the appeal on a technicality ground, there's a difference here. And precisely why it seems so ridiculous that the government who set him free would use the same (now failed) trick as the government who convicted him.

He didn't win on technical ground. Criminal Law is about Evidence and the Prosecution have the duty to proved beyond reasonable doubt; they didn't as the accuser had contradictory statement of facts. You should read the whole judgment. That said, the judge could neither say whether the homosexual act was committed nor could they say the events did not happen. But since the evidences submitted by the PP was not beyond doubt, the accused had to be set free.
