At the Perak State Assembly debate, Barisan Nasional ADUN for Sungai Rapat Hamidah Osman asked the State assembly speaker V. Sivakumar whether he agreed to disagree with the well-known fable of whether a snake or a man from a certain racial community should be killed first.
Hamidah is a Muslim and as a Muslim how could she say such a thing against another human being who is also a creation from God? The Quran does not permit a Muslim to humiliate another person in such manner.

It takes a crisis of extreme proportions to force the true colours of oneself out. It is just as true for any political party. Now that UMNO is in disarray, the true colours of the party are being forced out, a sign of desperation.

Hamidah Osman is smart woman of course. She has made herself ugly, deceit to her kind, and benchmarked her mindset and character to a level of the Satans. Honestly speaking, not many are as good as Hamidah and for that highly regarded qualities in BN, Hamidah indeed deserves Tun-ship from The Agong.

Standing ovation untuk ADUN Sungai Rapat kerana berani untuk menghamburkan pepatah popular Melayu di Perak bila mengulas tindak-tanduk kaum-kaum India yang gemar berbuat bising. Maksud peribahasa tersebut sebenarnya ialah : Jika sesuatu isu yang boleh diselesaikan secara senyap-senyap, tak perlulah untuk dibising-bisingkan. Tetapi maksud paling popular ialah : Jika ada ular, kemudian ada pulak orang India, nescaya orang India ini akan berbuat bising dengan bahasa ibunda mereka yang pada telinga sesetengah orang Melayu, cukup membingitkan.
Mengapa perlu terangkat punggung dengan pepatah tersebut? Orang India perlulah memastikan mereka mengubah tindakan propa dan barua mereka supaya mereka akan diberi penghormatan sewajarnya. Sudahlah orang India suka memanipulasi undang-undang, mereka suka pula memanaskan isu-isu yang berkaitan Islam. Kemudian bila mereka berkuasa, mereka sebolehnya ingin menjadikan negara ini sebagai Tamil Nadu.
Tidak cukupkah dilabel penjilat punggung British, talam dua muka, lidah bercabang, kaki kecoh, dan nak ditambahkan lagi dengan pelampau Hindu, pencetus ketegangan dan pengadu domba. Sedarlah bahwa sikap bermuka-muka inilah yang membuatkan pepatah tersebut terus relevan sepanjang zaman. Berubahlah kaum India demi martabat bangsa sendiri.
