Najib: "I will continue to help people at my home."

Datuk Seri Najib Razak yesterday pledged he would carry out his responsibilities as an Umno member, elected representative and deputy prime minister to the letter, irrespective of the challenges that come his way.

He said he would not let challenges, including slander, keep him from his responsibilities.

"My wife and I will face these challenges. The truth will prevail," he said.

Najib also said that he would not shy away from helping anyone who sought his help.

"I will continue to receive people at my home to help them in whatever way that I can, including signing a letter of assistance and giving allocations."

Najib said laws, regulations and legal institutions should be respected.

"Whether they are government or opposition leaders, all should follow the laws."

He said the government had the option of imposing censorship instead of leaving it to the people to evaluate.

However, he said, this would lead to the belief that the government was not democratic nor open.

"Therefore, it is better for the people to be left to decide on the various issues."

On whether the issue would affect Umno, he said: "Umno members understand what is happening.

Shah,
Brave talk by a man doomed in his career as a politician due to ambition and greed. If only our politicians emulate the late Tun Dr. Ismail, we would feel safer.

Maverick,
Sorry for the mistake in my earlier comment.

Zawi,

Tun Dr Ismail can't wake up from his grave; if he can, I think he's probably suffer a heart attack and die again.

I had a problem with my son's education and went to see him in his office when he was the Education Minister. For the record, I told time off from work to go to his office no less than 5 times when I heard he was coming in. I couldn't even get near him.

And now he tell everyone that he will continue helping people in his home???

My take is this - after he was found out that he had been seeing Saiful a few days before Saiful made the SD against Anwar, he had no choice but to say that he was helping the latter with his career, which is a white lie. He has helped to launch a new career for Saiful, and he will now "continue to help people in his home"!

What a bl**dy load of bull, Najis!

KJ,

Did you really go to Najib's office 5 times/ And why not go to his house nbecause Najib says you are welcome to his house? Why not try again this time?

Make sure your son got CGPA better than Saiful; I believed he did far better; that's a presumption.

Look at the bright side, IF Najib wants to help people of ordinary, then that is indeed good deeds.

Somehow, I bet in return for Najib attention, these visitors could probably have to offer their BUTTOCK.

What one could expect from a SODOMISER; just a common sense question with a normal answer like "ASSHOLE"!

The truth will prevail, but DEFINITELY not under the current administration. And not for Bolehland for next 20 years.

Malaysia government has a bad track records of "truth will prevail" stuff.

Pui-key-Mack,

Ya, it is good news to know Najib promised to help those who go to his house for assistance and scholarships.

The other part is irrelevant.

Moo_t,

Truth always prevail; that's the essence.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry...

Artchan,

In this surrounding circumstances, most are unsure of the truth; the confusions created by Bala in his two SD, and the involvement of so many parties in the scandals and the manners of involvement of the police and the investigations are observable phenomena which connotes negative impressions.

Koko_nutty,

Actually, that was the truth; and is still the truth.

Wah! Suddenly our DPM show so much 'love' to the people.

Our DPM was such a 'shy' guy when earlier he didn't say he met that sodomized guy but later admitted it. Maybe he didn't want us to know earlier that he 'love' the people.

So now he overcome his 'shyness' by publicly declaring that he will help just anyone who come to his house. How lovely! Just Amazing!

Eh... Mav do you think I can get Najib to loan me a couple of thousands ringgit to cope with the current high cost of living ?

I would imagine this shouldn't be a problem as he is so willing to help the people .

Glitter85,

What about Nobel prize?

CaptainCaveman,

Ya, though suddenly, it is a good change.

Living like a beggar,

Ya, you should try; Najib had promised to help anyone who would visit his home.

Hello Mave,

That is very generous of Najib's statement "I will continue to receive people at my home to help them in whatever way that I can, including signing a letter of assistance and giving allocations". I wonder he really means it. No wonder Saiful could easily ask aid in his office.

Maverick SM said...

Wisdomthinker,

I believe Najib meant it; at least for Saiful. But there's no harm to try to approach him for help; he would likely help to keep his words.

Nobel prize sound perfect to me :-p
