High Court Judge V.T. Singham was puzzled why the police commence a rape investigation when the victim did not complain of sexual assault.She only said that she had been robbed and physically attacked but not sexually.
However, the police sent the victim to the hospital to examine her private parts.
It was only then that the victim was told by the doctor that she had been raped.
9 days later (after the doctor told her) , she then lodged a police report of the rape incident.
According to the judge, the victim’s police report never said she had been raped.
“A third party was the one telling her she was raped. This is a strange situation, isn’t it?” Judge Singham said.
“This is a teacher and an adult. Surely she would have known if she was raped,” the judge quipped.

Meanwhile, in Malbabwe...a strong and tall 23-year old was apparently repeatedly raped on 5 different occasions before finally deciding to seek the Deputy Prime Minister advice at his home.
Subsequently he allegedly got raped a 6th time before finally making a police report.
The contents of the said police report is still an Official Secret.

it's not puzzling, she had been robbed, and attacked, probably drugged as well? she cannot recall the details, and she has been traumatise badly. her head is not so clear at the time.
it's not a secret that due to trauma, we can lost part of our memory, only to regain it later on. ask any car accident victim, and they can recall up to the point on accident, and sometimes they don't even know how they met with the accident and in hospital.
the fact is that she is raped, either she recall it or not is not important, the doctor can prove that.

Unless the victim was drugged, zonked out, beyond this world, it is rather impossible to not know if you have been raped or not.
Hmmm... I am not very clever but I always thought that to proof rape, the medical report has to substantiate the fact that penetration has taken place, some form of force has been used on the victim, bruises ah, scratches ah, lebam ah.. if all also don't have, than can still be considered rape ah?
the doctor said she has been raped. that is a doctor words, and it's a fact.
yes, if doctor says so, then the bruises ah, scratches ah, lebam should be there as well.
as to why the police did a commence a rape investigation by sending her to a doctor for verification is also not puzzling.
it is probably a standard practice for the police.
image you see a lady looking dazzle, and claim that she has been rob, attacked and etc.. you will surely suspect that she also has been molested or worse rape, even if she didn't say so.
why you even think so in the first place is just a fatherly instinct and feeling of worry for the victim that she might have suffered a worse fate than just some bruise and losing some money.
so it's also not puzzling. i am starting to puzzle how the judge become a judge without simple common sense.

Nothing strange or weird here. There have been many cases before this all over the world where a person didnt know she was raped
If you are still virgin then you should know if you were raped, but if you are not and are used to doing this of course you won't feel anything there.
