Traffic summonses will be given a discount of between 30-50% from today, said Federal Traffic chief Datuk Hamza Taib.30% remission for unpaid summonses issued previously; 50% discount for those given out from today.
All discounts are for compoundable offenses only.
No discounts will be given for summonses issued during Ops Sikap, beating traffic lights, causing road accidents and summonses with warrants of arrest.
No discounts for sodomy offenses too.
