Today's Contemplation

I have learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends on our dispositions and not on our circumstances. We carry the seeds with us in our minds wherever we go.

Totally agree. It took me many years and getting hard knocks to understand that.

Happiness is mostly what's inside your mind - the mental tape recorder, as one writer put it.

You can make up your mind to be positive or you can be negative.

And also learnt to my surprise that often you can give better solutions to the external situation when you have a positive outlook than if you look at it negatively.
