The last time I heard of this phrase, it was pronounced by a rapist in the court when he claimed that the judge was unfair to him.

in Islam, if a person who has committed so much wrongdoing and yet seemed to be getting more in terms of wealth and whatmore...it is not that Allah loves him more or that Allah is not aware of his sins & wrongdoings..but it is called ISTIDRAJ..i.e. Allah will give him more to make him have this false belief that he is right and under the mercy of Allah.
