SYSTEMIC FAILURE IN MALAYSIAN PARLIMENT - NO ONE IS AT FAULT
Parliment Screw-up a Systemic Failure
PARLIMENT SCREW-UP A SYSTEMIC FAILURE
At the swearing-in ceremony of the Members of Parliment, Datuk Kamarudin Jaffar, the PAS MP for Tumpat urged the Dewan Rakyst speaker to declare that the MP for Mersing, Johor should be the defeated candidate from PAS Idris Tukachil because the Government's gazette issued (mistakenly) indicate that Idris obtained 19,222 votes while the Barisan candidate obtained 669 votes. That means Abdul Latiff from Barisan is not an MP even though the Election Commission had declared Abdul Latiff as the winner.
How could a Government gazette make such mistake?
According to Datuk Nazri, the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in-charge of parliment, "It may not be the commission's mistake. It could have been due to a printing error."
Suppose it is a printing error, why is it that the gazette is not check, proof-read, etc before being circulated? Is it that the parliment do not have a system to ensure the process is monitored, controlled and audited to ensure efficiency and effectiveness?
Or, should the error be from the Election Commission, what does it indicates?
Well, we just made ourselves a laughing stock to the international comunity. We are showing to the world the system we have and the efficiency level of our people, our executives and our leaders. Pak-Lah says he has scrutinized all the candidates standing for election and he is satisfied that they are competent and efficient, and at such they are selected to represent, to serve the Rakyat, and to take the nation to the forefront of economic prosperity and first world competencies - TO COMPETE WITH THE BEST - TO BENCHMARK AGAINST THE BEST!!!!!
Pak-Lah, do you really know your people, their ability, their capability and what they can or cannot do? Does the KPI that Pak-Lah profess applies here - on this issue????? Or Do we need another election to get a new mandate to offer the present Barisan Government another chance to proof themselves??? GOD bless the Malaysian - MALAYSIA BOLEH !!!!
