CORPORATE MANAGEMENT IN THE EYES OF MAMAKISM
On the 9th. June (The Star), Tan Sri Noh Mohamed Yakcob, the Finance Minister II, announced that the Government is currently considering the appointment of non-bumiputeras to manage Government-Link Corporations (GLCs). According to the Minister, "Until now, we have appointed 6 candidates to GLCs and NONE are non-bumiputeras. The Ministry is interviewing Foreign-Malaysians for those positions (as reported).
As a Chinese Malaysian, and on behalf of the non-bumis', "DEAR MINISTER, THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!" Many non-bumis' could be delighted with such new unheard news and MCA is extremely excited with the news (now, ADA-CHANCE to cari makan).

2 days later (11th. June), as reported in the same newspaper, the Minister called on the non-bumis' controlled companies to "MOVE AWAY FROM TOKENISM AND APPOINT BUMIPUTERAS TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT" as he felt that top jobs for bumiputeras in non-bumi companies have been limited.

Malaysians have often been repeatedly reminded to unite as one - Malaysians , and create a BANGSA MALAYSIA, AND A MALAYSIA FOR MALAYSIANS. Everyday, we read in the news of politicians and Ministers who keep reminding us that we are not one Malaysian society but clear distinctive races and community divided into 2 class of people - the Bumiputeras and Non-Bumiputeras. The Higher Education Minister also reminds us of this distinction. The UMNO, MCA and MIC, keeps reminding us that too!!!! SIR, I heard it and heard it clear and Loud!!!!!
"Dear Finance Minister II, whatever the reason you want to appoint whoever the person to GLCs have nothing to do with the majority of the poor Malaysians, including me and my family. If you like, (as have always been), please feel free to keep all GLCs position for whoever you so desire but don't quote us - the many non-bumis - who are not benefitting from your shit idea! Those great Malaysians (non-bumis) in foreign land are doing well and please, you don't have to bring them back to please us. Keep your F#@king jobs for your cronies and just leave us in peace. Almost all the bumis and non-bumis are happy living together, schooling together and having teh-tarik together. We are peaceful, loving and fine as Malaysians (both bumi & non) and we don't have to be reminded so damn often."
The point is -
Companies and Corporations, be they, GLCs, MNCs, SMIs, Kicimiaus, are basically profit-centered. They will employ any person (to any position) who have the ability and competency to create value for the organization and generate increasing shareholders wealth; continuously, year after year. Whoever they choose to employ, whether Bumi, Chinese, Indian, Mat-Salleh, if and when that wealth creation stops, he will be sacked!
SO, bringing back any non-bumis to head GLCs is NOT a favor to non-B but a strategic decision (please pay attention to this, dear stupid & brainless minister) to increase the wealth of GLCs, that will benefit the organization. At such, if Bumis can do a good job, and he is hardworking and honest, and is competent to enhance the wealth of the GLCs, please employ them all - we non-bumis are total supportive of that good decision; bumi or non!

As to whether or not the non-bumi corporations and MNCs will increase bumis' as CEOs, it has nothing to do with ordinary Malaysians, Bumis and NON-Bumis! So, Datuk Najib, "Please sent your mind and brain to the road-side laundry for a good cleaning and I will pay for it (the laundry shop is available in Pekan, Pahang). If I owned a company, I will employ whoever that generates revenue and profit for my company, and whoever that makes me rich - CAN YOU UNDERSTAND MINISTERS AND POLITICIANS??????
