Mahathir Boleh
Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has sent a congratulatory note to medical student Lennard Lee, who successfully swam across the English Channel on Tuesday. In his note, which was made available to The Star, Dr Mahathir said: “I am proud and every Malaysian must also be proud of your achievement. “It just goes to show what Malaysians can do when they set their minds on any challenge. “Malaysia obviously boleh and you certainly boleh.”
Back in Malaysia, Lennard's feat has also raised contributions in support of the Seck Kia Eenh Cancer Fund. Dr Chong Kwang Jeat, 42, a cancer specialist with a private medical centre, chipped in RM2,000. “This was one of the little things that I could do to give Lennard some encouragement so that he would have the spirit to swim across the channel,” said Dr Chong. Dr Chong said he had seen many cancer patients suffering because they had no money to obtain treatment. Chan Swee Huat, the chairman of the fund, said the contributions now stood at RM12,166.50.PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT QUESTION:1) What has Datuk Abdul Malik Mydin achieved for his effort in terms of social cause of benefits?2) Will Lennard get a Datukship in recognition of his effort which is no smaller feet compared with Malik?

Yeah..again..Let everybody like you know that Malik Mydin had succesfully collected RM150,000 for the English Channel Challenge 2003 which donated all of the total to MAKNA (Majlis Kanser Nasional)...(you can get confirmation from Datuk Farid Ariffin the President)..so why are you still querryon what is his contribution????
Please laaa...Get more information before talking... Well..Lennard is good..but to compare is something subjective because the swim is related to many factors which is out of anybody control..
Luckily for Lennard..he got RM35,000..and also to Magendran anf Mohandas..who got a lot of benefits...but do anybody asked what did Malik gets??? Yeah...u see in the newspaper that he got a house..job..etc..
But the real story was...he didnt get anything...nothing....not any single sen (RM??? of course no..)..Please laaa....
Unfortunately for him..he couldnt claim or force on the promises because of his title of 'Datuk'...(malu beb)so will you do something for him???????
I am his very good friend..I know him very well...I know what other achievers got..but not for him..he sacrifice his life....now..he has nothing....Think...
