Kayveas Theory of the new Secret Societies

Kayveas Theory Posted by Picasa

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk M. Kayveas charged that local governments were being run like ‘secret societies’. He also accused councillors of being rubber stamps.

What has the various state councillors got to comment?

Selayang Municipal Councillor Ahmad Bhari Abdul Rahman, Kuantan Council President Datuk Mohd Safian Isnail & Petaling Jaya Municipal President Datuk Ahmad Termizi Puteh said the statement was grossly unfair .

Kuantan State Executive Councillor Datuk Hoh Khai Mun said Kayveas should have been more specific in his charges.

Johor State Executive Councillor Datuk Halimah Mohamed Sadique said Kayveas was far off the mark. JB Council President Burhan Amin described Kayveas statement as ‘too much’.

Ipoh Mayor Datuk Hasan Nawawi called the statement a ‘wild allegation’. He said Kayveas should mind his own business.

Malacca mayor Datuk Zaini Md Nor believed council had been performing well and up to expectation.

In reality, what was enunciated by Kayveas was nothing new and is the wild truth, nothing, but the truth.

The denial syndrome is the fundamental core competence of Malaysian Political Masters. In fact, almost all Malaysians knows about it.

The challenge is for local government to refute the charges, and not to sit back and deny until the cow falls dead.

This is what Kayveas enunciated:

“What I’ve spoken is something many people want to say. But they don’t know how to say it; don’t have a forum or are scared to do so.”

“Local government are run very secretively. There’s no transparency. No one knows what’s going on. Everything is hush-hush.”

“It is run like a secret society. I can fall at their feet and apologise if I’m wrong and if they can prove that what I’m saying is not true.”

“I have made a full study of what is actually going on in all local government. If we can eradicate corruption in local governments, the country and the government will smell like a rose.”

This is what the Malay Contractors had said:

From licencing and tendering to consultation and approval of projects, or from the acceptance to the completion of a project, we have to give out money.”

- Datuk Roslan Awang Chik, the Malays Contractors Association President.

Oh damn those spam bugs.
So does that mean Kayveas is supporting DAP's motion on restoring the Third Vote?
